    World of Warcraft: Current Year

I thoroughly enjoyed and was invested in the MoP Cloak. Less so with the WoD Ring. It will be a shame (in my opinion) if they go back to the old-old system, where a Legendary is role (or even class) specific and is the only one available that raid/tier/expansion.

Ruiner is loads of fun as well, if you are into the dystopian future punk style, it is pretty aces.

Mind you, this does work, within reason. Like... if you have a headache, you can apply pressure to the webbing between your thumb and index finger. It will help provide some temporary relief. But would not work if, say, you have a toothache and you tried to stub your toe.

    A Quiet Place (2018)

Any alien invasion movie that does not have us being enslaved via chemicals or melted from orbit requires heavy suspension of disbelief. So do most monster movies. /shrug

    A Quiet Place (2018)

Saw this with some friends. As others state, a bit of a slow start, some very good visuals/tension scenes. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Would give it a solid B+.

The first monthly bundle I have actually 'purchased' in months, rather than just forgetting to pause my subscription and going 'Oh. I guess I got some games I am not really interested in.'

I used to love History/Discovery, even the weird stuff (particularly the weird stuff), then they went all reality television shows.

Half of my guild got in. But I did not. They all refuse to test the Battle Pet system, while I would do that wholeheartedly. Such a shame.

    South Park Stick of Truth

My big issue with this game was that you hit maximum level with 20-25% of the game left, if you do any amount of side quests/exploration.

    Marvel's Jessica Jones

No mid-season slump, like most of the Marvel shows have had. I enjoyed the Hogarth story and Malcolm. Jessica and her Mother were... grating lots of the time. Holy fuck, Trish's story was hot garbage. Drug the entire season down from a 6.5 to a 4 in my opinion.

How to let your child use a computer\internet without ruining their innocence.

Depends on the age. If they are 6-9, you could probably do it without warning them. After 10, I would make sure they are aware of it.

    Hearthstone

Uh... it is currently 182k for $15 (US Servers). So 36,400 Gold per HS pack. I usually just buy the pre-order pack, which is around 650k gold (Around 3ish weeks of 'passive' Order Hall crap).

    Hearthstone

If it wasn't for WoW gold being able to purchase Hearthstone cards, I am pretty sure I would not be playing this game anymore. Every expansion, it is one or two deck types that dominates the meta and they do not fix the situation.

    Marvel's Jessica Jones

Every Marvel show on Netflix seems to have a very bad 'middle slump', things just drag on and on, including Punisher. Hell, even Defenders, which was only 8 episodes, suffered from it.

    Weather

The only 'good' thing that 'Super Storm Sandy' did to my area, was wipe out a large portion of the utility poles/lines and damage the nearest substation. They had to replace them all. Before that storm, I would lose power 3-4 times a winter for a few days at a stretch. Since then, I have not had...

    Weather

Storms have dumped 24" and 14" over the last week. Have also had three small snowfalls of 2-4". Over three and a half feet on the ground in most places. Piles around my deck are so large, I am almost out of places to toss it.

    Weather

Twenty-three inches from the 'Nor'easter' last week and the storm that is rolling up the coast is slated to drop another 12-20 on our heads. (North-Eastern Pennsylvania) They still have not towed/pulled all of the abandoned cars off of the highways and now we are going to get it again. Lots of fun.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Fuck Blizzard and their leveling changes. I had a +300% RAF account grandfathered in and even with that and full Heirlooms, 1-60 was still boring. 60-80 was also shit. I do not want to 'take my time' when I am doing something for the 15th time. I did a Highmountain and a Nightborne. Won't be...

May give it another try when the War Exhaustion change comes in. But it does not change how incredibly slow the early game is and how unbalanced some of the events/factions are (Hi Great Khan!).

Nevermind. I doubt I am going to finish this game. Hyperlanes make responding to enemy attacks way, way too difficult/bothersome to play. You can research Jump Drives (Dangerous Tech, blah blah blah) late in the game. But they have a 120 Day cool down and while it is on cool down, you have -50%...

    Stellaris

Going to agree that they really messed this up. Everything is so slow. I am getting repeating tech and my fleet cap is around 500. Which lets me field three fleets of 38k and one of 15k. But enemy empires all seem to have 8-10 fleets of 20k... Which makes every battle one of attrition. And it is...

    Stellaris

Under the old system, where you plop down a base and it gets you 3+ star systems, yes. But in the new one, EACH star system needs it's own individual base and each individual base increases the traditions cost. With the change to ship stacking (Each stack can only be so large, based off of...

I would recommend picking up all of the gameplay DLC (Utopia, Synthetic Dawn, Leviathans, and Apocalypse). Each adds something to the game that makes it better. However, I am not sure I am going to be playing this much as the Apocalypse DLC really, really messed up Traditions/Ascendancy. It is...

    Stellaris

Game is much, much slower early with forced Hyperlanes. There is a toggle to speed up tech advancement in the game set-up at the start of a campaign, but I have not fiddled with it yet. Weapons will be 'limited' to Warforging, according to them. I wish weapons and trinkets were exempt from the WF/TF system and were just locked in stone as a singular difficulty drop.
