Redmayne definitely deserved it. Birdman is a better movie, but Redmayne's transformation and depiction were remarkable. The only real upset in my opinion is Patricia Arquette. Her 5 minutes of screentime were the best part of that crappy movie, but that's not saying much.

What do you mean by extra stuff? Elven dialogue is subtitled if you play an elf, but I'm not sure of any other perks.

I like the music but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the musical entrances. Also, banter has really picked up since leaving The Hinterlands which is nice. I was paranoid that I had the banter bug that many people are experiencing.
