    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

if Kingmaker is anything to go by, there sales will be incredibly rare and not overly generous, ie 10 or 15% off. So if you're interested then you might as well pull the trigger now. Alternatively, if you haven't played Kingmaker, grab that since it's cheaper now. Wrath is better imo but the...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

How are people going with money in this game? I end up with what seems like heaps, in the 10s of thousands sometime, but that usually only lets me buy 1 good item from a vendor. I mostly upgrade from dropped stuff but that still leaves way too many gaps. ps, I'm in act 3 I think.

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Everytime I learn something new about this game I realise every decision I have made up until that point has been incorrect! Saying that, It seems that 80% of the fights are just trash you can diablo your way through, 15% are ones you actually need to do some planning and micro, and 5% are ones...

Can a link to that build? I think I was looking for something like that to try out but ends up with an aldori duelist setup but not sure I'm overly happy with it.

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

This is the sort of game I'm interested in but in a wait for it to be on sale kind of way. But if kingmaker is anything to go by, the sales will be few and far between and quite small.

    Battlefield 2042

What amazes me about the BF series is how often they take big steps backwards. Zip lining was in one of the expansions for BF2, specifial forces or something? and it was pretty cool, added some extra dimension to the game. But then nothing. BC2 was fucking amazing in how the map would end up...

Humankind (Civ-style game from Amplitude Studios)

really? It literally cheats. you turn it on and see your guys make a direct line to a spot and when it comes withing vision range, you see there was a curiosity or harvest spot there. So naturally it's taking the most direct path to get to those things, negating any actual exploring you're...

Humankind (Civ-style game from Amplitude Studios)

This is really not a good game. I wanted to like it, and think I got close after the last beta, but it's just not quite there. The whole civ picking thing ruins any sort of connection you have with the nation you're building. More often than now I feel disassociated from the civ I'm playing...

I've been playing the hell out of that on BGA. You reach the point where luck of the draw can really swing a game but it does have a surprising amount of depth to it

Humankind (Civ-style game from Amplitude Studios)

Oh, the best tip I've found is to set your guys to auto explore in the neolithic era. Because the AI cheats and basically wall hacks, doing this will make your guys go straight to the food and sci spots automagically.

So good to be back and with crowds again. We're off to a good start and look more like confident team of 2 seasons ago. Always good to see Man City spend 100m on a play and still lose.

Humankind (Civ-style game from Amplitude Studios)

It's not terrible, but not super great either. I definitely decided I'd pick it up on sale rather than day one but thanks xbox! I did play for 80 hours during the week it was in beta so easy to argue that I enjoyed it enough and deserved to be bought but it really felt like game rather than...

    Motherland: Fort Salem

I've been working my way through this series lately and really enjoying it. It has a brilliant premise imo (that the Salem witched formed an accord with the US government, joining the army) and I was worried they'd butcher it. I don't think they did, for the most part. The show ends up being a...

finally got around to watching this. Not terrible but not great either. So many stupid moments where people just don't listen or refuse to reason things out. Easy enough watch though. I do wish it was more of a treasure hunt show. Season 2 dropping on Friday for anyone who cares

    Black Widow (2020)

I enjoyed it. Mostly because it was good seeing something in the cinema again. I'd probably put it in the third tier of marvel movies, on par with Thor2, iron man 2, cap 1. For me, like most marvels below the top tier, it lacks that oh wow scene that you just want to replay over and over...

Humankind (Civ-style game from Amplitude Studios)

I played the shit out of the beta and enjoyed it for the most part but not sure I would consider it a great game. It's certainly different enough from the Civ's but I don't think it has as much depth. Obviously that comparing a base game with a game that has multiple versions and multi...

You know Sherlock Holmes if fiction too right? You're annoyed that one person's made up version of history doesn't align with another person's made up version of history. Neither is going to be accurate, and we'll probably never know to what degree.

Endzone - A World Apart ("Survival city builder")

It's ok. It really is just Banished in a post apoc setting. Some of the things its adds, such as radioactive stuff you have to clean up, seem to just add tediousness to it. it's probably ok for the current sale price, but if you've got banished already, might be better just trying out new mods...
