There's no refresh button on the server status page and none of the buttons work except "exit game". Do I have to restart the game (which also takes forever) every few minutes during the 60-90 minute restart window or will it automatically refresh on its own?

It is a beta, so instability is a risk we take by installing it. However, the update from 8.0 to 8.1 is pretty minor and shouldn't affect a lot of the things that seem to be causing problems. I guess I'm just a little disappointed that a patch version of W8 is less stable than the true beta...

I had no issues with Win8 (aside from gripes about the metro crap). I updated to the 8.1 preview, and the experience is essentially the same for me while the stability of the OS has gone down. I never had any crashes under W8, but I've had a few under 8.1.

Chrome is a nice browser, but I won't consider it until NoScript and AdBlock Plus work the same way there as they do in Firefox. Firefox is basically just as fast as Chrome except in synthetic benchmarks, so I'm pretty happy with it.
