The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS)

Ah, point. I just checked and I have just shy of 18 hours on my file, which is 100% complete (including all the random treasure rooms, literally nothing left in the game).

Just found out something new, once you get all the golden versions of your classes basic cards, you start getting golden neutral minions. Which ones you get depends on the class you're leveling. Kind of cool, considering some of the most commonly used cards are basic minions.

The Big Bad Console Thread - Sway your Station with an Xboner !

It is actually quite difficult. N64, which was not a particularly complicated piece of hardware, had odd pause bugs in many games in different emulators for a couple of years after stability was otherwise achieved. Emulation isn't easy. The PS3's architecture would be extremely difficult to...

He built a smoker out of a cardboard box (which works because you smoke at ~220 and ignition point of paper is 451 F) too and an army surplus ammo box, which was just wood IIRC. Drilled holes and used old wine corks to regulate oxygen flow. Which would easily be big enough for several slabs of...

There has been debate about using him as, effectively, a hex/polymorph. Ihearthu had an article about it. Druids can certainly deal with a 5/5, so in that sense it might be superior to running one Naturalize since it doesn't give your opponent card draw. I'd still rather run Big Game Hunter...

Um, Tinkmaster Overspark has the battlecry "Randomly turn a minion into either a 1/1 sheep or a 5/5 Devilsaur." You guys are thinking of the promo card Goblin Mekkatorque, which is different.

    Hearthstone

Big Game Hunter is a neutral removal. Most Druids run at least one Naturalize in constructed for precisely those types of situations. But there are lots of class specific ways of handling it. Hex, Sheep, Aldor Peackeeper making it a 1/12 is suddenly not very threatening, or Equality to make it a...

Ancestral Spirit on Argents is one of my favorite combos. I can't justify two, but I run one in my Shaman deck. I'd be curious to try using Al'Akir if I had him unlocked.

The mountain giants usually do come out on turn 4/5/6. Basically you don't even play cards the first 3-4 turns, unless they are Loot Hoarders, Novice Engineers, or Arcane Intellect. You just let your hand stack up. There are exceptions, of course, depends on the board. But you actually want to...

I haven't actually used her yet, even though I've had her in hand twice. I've always had lethal without it. Replace her with another Doomsayer and you'd probably be fine. Though she does deal with Warriors well in my experience with similar decks, because it incorrectly removes armor (supposed...

    Travelling in California

Santa Barbara traffic sucks, but only happens during normal rush hours (7-9 in the morning, 5-6 at night) except for Friday (people coming in for vacation) and Sunday (people leaving from said vacation). Um, most tournaments run a couple of hours. I got into the quarter finals of a tournament with like 100 people. It started at 6 PST, was over by 8:30, I was done by 7:15. That isn't what I think of as a major time commitment. If I have like a thousand people sign up, sure, maybe play it out over...

Yes. Though you don't need to supply deck lists to me either. If people want to cheat and switch up their decks between matches.... there isn't a good way to police them, honestly, not with the current tools in Hearthstone.

Unranked is a hodge podge. I think a lot of people who have been playing for a while play in unranked to test decks, or think the wins are easier to farm gold for arena, and there are some real new people in there, but they are few and far between. I go through games faster in ranked.

It depends on the deck. Druid ramp decks are pretty good and their curve is pretty far to the right. Aggro decks are the most common of anything right now and their curve is way left, some Warlock/Murloc decks have nothing over 4 mana. Paladin midrange decks are pretty centered and are probably...

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS)

The racing game is pretty trivial. You can cheat by going through the crack into the other world, warp to Skull Woods, go to where the Miner's house is, use the crack there, go outside, walk behind house. My time first try was 58 seconds. Wasn't sure it'd work, had tried the overworld route 2-3...

You're not getting randomly matched in arena, you're getting matched against people who also just went 3-0 with their deck. It shouldn't surprise you that you lose at that point. That'd be absurdly powerful. Turn 1 with coin, Defias, Shadowstep, Defias, Prep, Cleef would be two 2/1, one 2/2, and one 12/12. Granted that'd be your whole hand so the draw isn't very likely, but even the possibility would be ridiculous.
