DZ can be fun, but seems the last few days the hacker population has just exploded. Maybe it was just a run of bad luck, but since like wednesday going up to DZ6 is just instant death from 100+ meters, people teleporting to all the division tech crates, etc.

A single 970 cannot run everything "nicely" at 1440p. Even a 980ti dips below 60 on the division/witcher 3 at max settings and 1440p.

Yea that happens more and more these days. There's no real cure for it either besides just joining matchmaking over and over and hoping to get dumped in to a working instance.

I finally got around to testing that trapped cover mod and can confirm, it's fucked and works backwards. My scan with the increased damage vs scanned targets produces M4 headshots of about 350-380k depending on what you're shooting. Using cover + trapped M4 headshots are in the 420-450k range...

Works for police backpack as well to double your ammo. He's likely using the recovery talent on some high end items where it heals for 2% of max health per second after getting hit with a status effect. If you flashbang yourself it bugs out and just stays on until you switch instances.

That thing may be a bit harder to quantify donation-wise. Most items you'd donate (clothes, household items, etc) have static values and they just give you a receipt for them, IE pair of jeans in good condition is 15$, t-shirts are 5$, whatever. Iirc there is a pretty basic "computer" donation...

Yep challenge mode is not nearly as hard as people think it is. Sure, randoms can be pretty bad, but I find I can carry event he worst randoms through any of them besides the power plant and my gear is nothing really special (still on purple gloves and holster cause replacing them is impossible).

You can have basically 100% uptime on any skill you want with proper health management using strke back (cooldown reduction on reaching low health). Anyone not using that talent is mostly wrong at this point, especially if you're soloing at all. You're damn near immortal vs npcs if you run first...

If you're not using the cover buff you're probably doing it wrong. That shit is how you turn challenge missions in to 10-15 minute runs. Stacks with itself, and just puts out absurd damage when done so. The most "efficient" challenge run comps are basically 3 cover buffs and a scan, with like 2...

Yea I'm not even sure I'd call bullet king farming "exploiting". It was really only useful as a fresh 30 to get kitted in purples to do challenge missions. Past that just grinding the tunnel mission was way, way faster for phoenix credits/high end drops. My vector is at like 130k sheet dps...

My gear is pretty close to "done" so I've mostly been holding me own against groups of mediocre geared dudes, but that ain't gonna last...

Patch has definitely made the DZ a lot more volatile. Death penalties while rogue seem to be a fixed amount of XP now based on your level, so no more 100k+ losses. Lots more extraction ambushes happening, and groups seem to just try and mow down solo players on sight for the most part now...
