I believe the latest version of starter heroes are Captain America, Black Panther, Punisher, Black Widow, Luke Cage, Human Torch, Colossus, Storm, Hawkeye. If you're wanting to play right now I would avoid Black Panther/Black Widow because are still pretty meh and will get a fix next month...

Unfortunately it doesn't get better with any game in the genre. I think the most annoying thing for me is when people only have ONE item build regardless of team makeup, it might work in rare cases but most of the time you have to be able to adapt and too few people can.

Bought Hawkeye for 450, got Spiderman (whom I already had). For some reason I always get the expensive heroes which I already own. I decided to try one more time and bought Thor for 900 and got Human Torch whom I didn't have. Overall 3 new heroes for $13 isn't too bad. Just gotta pray to the RNG...

The MH forums are very much alive and kicking. Tons of information on each hero in their own sub-forums and there is a question and answers sub-forum. Their search function is not that bad either. Most of my Google searches turn up a forum post on the MH forums.

Yeah but they really are making some pretty huge changes. Cable is so OP right now and Colossus is damn good also. Those two are not getting reviewed anytime soon so I don't think you'll have to worry about having to respec anymore.

I just got Iron Man to 60 last night, played Cyclops to 23, gonna push for 50 tonight. I didn't find the 50-60 grind as awful as people made it, but I used some of the experience bars to help. Still felt pretty fast. Its a shame people ruined the 2600G code giveaways, would have loved to get...

You pretty much need to throw down on some storage if you plan to play multiple characters to 60, maybe even before then. A few general storage spaces and 1 crafting mats storage would do pretty well for awhile. If you're just playing one character or just casually playing and trying to decide...

Last time I played with a female in Dota she didn't buy wards/courier on a support. Funny thing is her group didn't back her up and gang on me, probably because they knew I was right and just didn't want to say anything to her.
