Mass effect Remastered - Legendary Edition - 2021

I never paid much attention to them, but Bioware romances would feel better if they all didn't turn the NPC, no matter what their personality is, into the same identical simpering garbage marketed toward incels and cat ladies. I just wanted Jack to stay angry and closed up through some good, old...

I don't know how true it is, but I hear a lot of people are putting in a few years in the SpaceX grinder and then moving onto more balanced jobs where they benefit from their time at SpaceX.

This point is often overlooked when comparing the ULA corps to SpaceX. I can only imagine the kind of dinosaurs and part-timers they have in the rocketry divisions at Boeing who are just looking ride out their careers for an easy paycheck. I can't imagine being an excited, motivated and talented...

Yeah, this thread is why I looked it up and was disappointed this conversation and your reply here doesn't seem to match what happened.

Science!! Fucking magnets, how do they work?

I know im a cretin but it seems kind of silly to have a huge research lab running for a decade or whatever to confirm that shit wobbles. I wish the video talked more about how now they reduced the uncertainty around muons they were going to pursue new physics.

IMO the game was released with version 3.0. it's not a game worth playing and probably will never be.

Would be interesting to see what the $$$ cost of an explosion is in terms of lost parts they were hoping to use. I imagine that it's all mostly going to get scrapped anyway, due to improved designs. So the question then becomes larger about the cost and efficiency of their prototyping approach...

    Guild Wars 2

It never really bothered me that much but some steam competitors are dogshit out the gate and have spyware. Steam was dogshit out the gate too. It's not easy to implement a content-management platform when devs can just plunk out a random 100GB patch for a AAA game that many gamers must have NOW.

    Guild Wars 2

Some games it makes sense for where a publisher will strangle their game by using it to beta-testing their shitty Steam competitor. It's a weird selling point for an old MMO though. I get why expanding the market is interesting to NCSOFT, but what gamer is really looking forward to GW2's steam...

    Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

I'm waiting for either the full release or a big overhaul mod to come out in early-access before playing this, so I'm personally invested in TW having a clean modding integration. But reading that thread all I can think is "Yeah that sounds right.". Bannerlord/Warband is almost like a game...

more like two hours. Everything was broken in ways I didn't think could be broken. Maybe using beta mods in an early access game is a bad idea? Nah, let's keep smashing broken stuff together.

As far as I can tell there's nothing coherent about vessel selection. I'm having to set my vessels to have a max range to only encompass where I want them to go. Otherwise they'll go across the entire galaxy to pick up some hydrogen instead of the planet in the same star system. Pretty huge bug...

Speaking of pointless, I was surprised to find out I'm low on graviton lens, how can that be since I copy-pasted my graviton lens factory?!?!?1 Guess what I'm doing for the next half hour instead of starting my rocket star system?!? (editor's note, the fractionators pictured above were...

RL picture of every end-game DSP player when viewing any other end-game DSP player: I view iron ingots and other smelting products as like, step 2 of a 10 step plan that results in things like quantum chips, graviton lens, rockets etc. Concentrating them on a planet many light years from...

Bautista also has another layer of difficulty where he has to spend quite a bit of time eating, resting, at the gym and taking "supplements" to maintain his shirtless physique that other actors don't. Compare that to a lot of action stars who basically need a few shirtless scenes they'll cut...

I'd probably quit if not for the planet copy mod. Building a ~1/10th planet sized mega-factory that's balanced and space-efficient is just about the perfect scale for the end-game, and being able to copy it to the rest of the planet / other planets is a good answer to scalability. None-the-less...

Yeah I reached the 'it's a waste of time to even consider using mk1/mk2 belts' this week. Still using MK 2 assemblers though. I'll probably switch over once I scale up my quantum chip / particle broadband planets. I keep telling myself that once I finish my current project I'll lose interest in...

The game is so fun that people are playing past the point of difficulty and just expanding out to goofy stuff. For me it's making the greatest research station in the cosmos, for this guy it's building a self-deploying sphere.
