The melee class bind restrictions were retarded, as were class/race xp penalties and a couple other PnP carry over rules that made no sense. It's safe to say that crap won't be in any modern game, EQ or otherwise. Not really even worth discussion.

What you have to ask yourself is: Knowing what SOE knows about the nature of guild/guild interaction when it comes to raid game spawn competition, and knowing that EQ next is going to be a highly dynamic and large world, why on earth would they make static timed raid spawns? No, raid...
