Most people could use this as a pretty easy bucket list server (save some epics), and ride this into the sunset as the last EQ venture. Most all the big pain is gone but still nostalgic as fuck. Heck, even "normal play time" people will Alt Up and still level at a reasonable pace + have time...

Good group leveling with xp pots rolling can get pretty insane. I wouldn't be surprised at a lvl per hour until the late 30s. Even after that it might be 90 mins per.

Based on Phinny, probably a huge bloat of ENC initially until people remember how shitty raiding is as one post Kunark. SHM will be rare and most rage quit before group buffs are avail. Mages / Necros are always farm friendly. Faster xp and instance raiding will make this a haven for people...

Man, not a huge fan of the new starting area on a Froob account. Might resub just so I don't have to deal with it and blitz some missions with the Fixa.

Maybe I don't play enough of the modern games but overall this looks pretty good. Kinda refreshing there isn't some super heavy - doomsday scenario pushing you from place to place... Explore the worlds, gain resources, etc. My only worry is player control and the limits on multiplayer.

Sub and enjoy the DLCs. They are not "needed" if you are gonna play a month but without the sub, you don't get the endless bag of crafting mats... which will flood your shit fast.

We totally found 2/3rds of those without a guide when it first came out. That language quest was nuts.... there was one dude in our guild that stayed up for 3 days straight clicking "everything" in the world ... probably found 4-5 of them for us.

I suspect each new prog server is paying off nicely for them. They could push one each year w/ minimal support and probably hook us for another 2 decades.

There are specs that perform a lot better in Tokyo - you need survival more than splooging dps on a pack of mobs. Matching survival with the right stats makes a big diff. Likely will need to give up pen/crit for hps/miti. Other option is find a buddy to travel with.

8 bucks could be spent a lot worse.

Wish they'd put the expansion pass on sale - atm GOTY is nearly the same price as the pass. ;/

LORD was great - I ended up being at the top of some local bbs for a while. I'd call it my first taste of "power / hardcore gaming". Then I moved to PIT. I loved the gladiator like combat plus it had health bars and equipment window!

I am giving ElvUI a shot again - its a full package save a few QoL items. Might be a little heavy but you can manage profiles pretty easy etc. I'd also recommend TellMeWhen

Hm... at 89 I get about 1/2 a level per invasion on my ele shm w/ loom. Something seems off.

I wonder if just chain phase 3 killing is better xp than all this travel.

8 Invasions seems pretty crazy to pull off 8 levels in that range - is that rolling a pot and all the loom?

There is no reason to not just fly around and pickup this free xp on all your "other" class characters. Put on the loom and soak it up.
