For those giving this a shot, don't go in thinking it is like some perfect WoW parser/ACT thing. There are quirks and the way eq logs stuff makes it even more fun. That said, it's still a critical program to have if you want to elevate your game.

Right... just forget it is actually there. Low level mobs that have x3 the hps and hit like zol knights. Erudites get the joy of an epic journey once in the lower teens. Nothing really close by - and share the same pain of those starting in Qeynos. Basically you have to get to "Commons" area...

Fixer use to be decent for soloing as well - HoTs, speed, kiting, EZ travel (fgrid). If you like pet classes, then that is the way to go (Eng/Crat),

Efreeti brings out the worst in people. BAM is a good farm if you know the spawn points and timers. For those coming back - Jboots are easy to get now... AC / cyclops are even a decent camp for xp/cash.

I thought that too, initially. Crazy enough, it comes back pretty quick. Sure, you won't know a bunch of little things people that chain TLP will do but you'll enjoy the game again.

^This Also remember if you are doing world race - that shit is almost constantly popping so it gets old pretty fast. Kunark isn't as bad... Velious either. But VP/NTOV take a toll too... just better than Original game.

For those that want to give chanter a shot - things to remember. a. While OP w/ Charm it requires nearly 100% constant attention to take advantage of "OP". Very little afk / alt-tabing possible. b. Raid scene is mostly buffing/debuffing. Very little mez'ing. Some content you get to have fun...

Maybe I'm not remembering it right but some of those spawns didn't pop on pickzone. Probably be helpful in some cases (ground spawns/certain named) but keeping zones up for AJ / Pained Soul / DL skelly was helpful.
