The Eureka relic is 100% stand-alone from the ARR/HW relics, so you can go grind that if you want. "Grind" being the operative word: Eureka is basically EQ1/FFXI mob grind mechanics (ie, very hard to solo) / XP curve, which is why it is fairly polarizing.
