Little tip, if you toggle god mode you get unlimited building resources. It's cheesy but makes building large projects a lot more tolerable.

Just use the Nexus mod manager. It's clunky but it works fine if you don't go overboard.

Playing through it on a re-release version isn't near as painful with the speed up feature. You can also basically cheat at Chocobo Hot & Cold with it as well, since you move/peck insanely fast but the countdown timer moves at normal speed.
