I have one bathroom to go in my house. The tile is all functioning perfectly, but it is a crappy 1980s Miami Vice style renovation done in the 80s. Ugly as sin, but totally functional, so I have it on the back burner until most everything else is done. I have it worked out how I can get a 1...

Pfft. Moving a toilet is not that big a deal. You just have to make sure you can structurally support it while you have enough slope on the plumbing that empties into a large stack that is adequately vented. Simple.

Do a lot of reading on pruning, and it will go fine. Much of it can be done from in the tree if you can climb at all.

Yeah, I've been tiling for years, and I still shy away from tiling a shower. I always make space to put a 1 piece unit in (often have removed doors to make this possible). Those beasts won't leak for thirty years. Tiling I have done myself? Probably be okay, and I've helped friends do it, but...

Isn't that true of everything you wet dip? Athankyou But seriously? I have hella hard water, like shit's ridiculous even with a softener. Is this going to be a short lived appliance because water issues? Corrosion showing up after one use does not fill me with moist, deliciously cooked...

Talk to the person next door and tell them you're willing to do the work, make it a good, healthy tree that provides delicious fruit, and offer to let them pick half. If they aren't interested, they'll more than likely tell you to go ahead and deal with it and take the fruit. Win!

Does the pipe empty into the ground and you can't see into what it empties? If that's the case, it might simply be that someone created a French Drain there which is fine for regular and light rain, but fills up during heavy downpours. If that's the case, the options are to live with it, or...
