PoE has a pretty good overall story plus the endgame horror storyline. LE needs some serious work. I like the concept of time travel for an arpg but I think the overall story is a steaming pile. D2 was great. D3 was meh. Grim Dawn I remember being ok

I will say that melee feel 1000% better than any PoE melee outside cyclone. I always thought PoE melee felt janky. PoE is still the king. But nice to see someone taking some shots and landing some hits.

PoE fanboys at work (all two of them) constantly denigrate this game as fisher price ARPG like d3/d4.

I’m a PoE apologist for the most part, but LE’s crafting isn’t as braindead nor easy mode as some PoE fanboys make it to be. It’s pretty good. And I don’t feel overly punished tweaking leveling gear early on either.

I’ve definitely been playing mostly Japanese devs lately with a smattering of American indie stuff. Exclusion I guess for hogwarts. A lot less of The Message. Just good gameplay and sometimes a decent enough story.

minor annoyance, but when you zone into a new zone it points your toward the exit/entrance you just came from. At least on my machine it is.
