I reported my friend on Hots just because he's an asshole and without any actual text to back up my report they banned him for 24 hrs the next day. I know he's a dick to just about everyone on that game so I assume I must have triggered a ban based on the number of reports.

well I made it in to platinum division but I'm pretty much nailed to the bottom of it now, for whatever reason the platinums I beat to get in to the division were a lot shittier than the ones I'm playing now to try to move up, and they're the same rank, Oh and they're throwing in diamond ranked...

I'm not gonna be the guy to defend console peasantry but I can't stand counter strike and as far as I know this is the only other FPS with a proper ranking system and the gameplay is really fun so far.

raiding is literally the last thing that cost them any subs as it's the thing they did best, I do think that there was a whiplash effect this expac though. There were 10 million players and they formed guilds to do raids then the people who were going to quite anyway left leaving holes in raid...

The complaint for vanguard was that it was too buggy, the complaint for wild star was that it was too hard. The game was as polished as any mmo ever released and still everyone stepped away because the content was hard and getting in to raiding was like slamming your dick in a door.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that 100% of this projects problems lie in choosing to take on this project after scrapping the game what twice? before deciding they wanted to instead make it technically difficult for their developers to complete? Choosing to do the hardest to make mmo short...

There was significantly more combat than I would expect from a game based on those books. The idea is pretty cool though because they can literally do anything they want as far as future content development.

In cata you had LFR AND justice points, so yes, it was like that, only more gear available at an actual raid ready level. Hell you had heroic dungeons dumping epics on you.

All i gotta do is sell enough loose cigarettes to buy a gun and then I can go hijack some space nerd and run off with his yacht.

BC and Wotlk were both more fun than vanilla by far, Raids were good, heroics were good, token system for loot was better than anything they've come up with to replace it. "Welfare epics" took multiple raids worth of badges to acquire. Vanilla on the other hand had more... interesting things...

Your offhand weapon was always left in the dust, if the relics themselves have stats on them it's going to be pretty much exactly the same for weapon drops, you just won't get a new model when you upgrade anymore.

The thing I noticed this expac is it isn't as likely that you will put out competitive dps if you don't pot on your opener, to the point where the scrubs I was dragging around the raids would do their rotation right but struggle to hit even 16k dps because they were still in the cruise control...

If they manage to keep dungeons interesting for reasons other than leveling artifacts, running dungeons to level up your off spec weapon wouldn't be too bad.

I wonder if they are going to make changes to healing again. I hate not being able to afford to cast the correct heal for the situation. I know that probably won't go back to MoP but I definitely enjoyed that healing far more than wod.

There's nothing they can give another class that will compete with an absorb, that's the ENTIRE point, that's why what is being said is being said, If no damage happens it doesn't matter what kind of heal you give, it's not going to be worth anything.
