This show is more Catholic Sadism than porn. I mean I guess it is porn if you get hard while watching others in pain. I think this will be the last episode that shows anything involving torture of native Americans. It did a pretty good job of advancing that story beyond the point. I suppose she could get caught and we get a repeat performance but I am hoping the three stories come together more now.

My wife and I agreed at the start of this to just fast forward through all of the nun nonsense. Just flat out nope. We will watch that story line when she eventually shows up at the ranch and becomes the first Rip and starts the brand.

Just skip all the torture porn nonsense and this show is pretty great.

This is good TV. I'm looking forward to it more every week than anything else at the moment, at least.

That episode could have just been merged into the previous one with 40 minutes taken out.

I get that being on a boat can be dangerous. During that time period a person coughing up blood would have been a major red flag for consumption(TB). Since Robert Koch's discovery that TB was highly contagious occurred in 1882, it would have made sense to not take that boat. They would have known how dangerous that disease could be. That was a stupid risk akin to just trying to swim their way to the Suez Canal. Add to that "The Ghost Ship" that was an issue twice in wide open waters.....

Weakest episode by a country mile.

You could just skip this episode and watch the previous episode review for episode 6.

I am going to rant a little more. I am getting tired of the long trip the son is taking and how we have to see every aspect of it. I get it. It takes time to travel. I watched the one that was all about...travel. It was called 1883. Can we please get this fucking man and his new girl back to the damn ranch now.

Jesus that was an awful episodes, especially after coming out of a break and making it a long run time too.

no really, bands of priests and nuns literally chasing down little Indian girls on horseback to straight up murder them is Real Historical Accuracy. happened all the time.

I hope someday smart TVs add a feature to skip entire story lines. Just uncheck the fetish torture porn storyline and watch the rest.
