If it's not RG3, it's going to be Wilson. Luck shouldn't be considered in my opinion.
Yeah taking a shit team to a 11-5 and to the playoffs your rookie year completely rules you out as ROTY

Quit being a fucking homer

Luck took the worst team in the league into a playoff spot and 10+ wins. Why shouldn't he be considered? The voters are going to have a really tough decision this year because of how solid all three rookie playoff QBs have been plus a couple of others like Morris. My belief is that RG3 shouldn't be considered because Cousins stepped in and kept the train going when he was out with injury, plus you don't get where you are without Morris having the monster year he had.

He had the 3rd easiest schedule in the league. He had a good year. Great even. But Wilson and RG3 were better. They also both took their teams to the playoffs.

As far as RG3:

NFL rookie record 102.4 passer rating. Former record of 98.1 was held by Ben Roethlisberger (2004).
NFL rookie record 815 rushing yards for a Quarterback. Former record of 706 yards was held by Cam Newton (2011).
NFL rookie record +15 Touchdown-Interception differential. Former record of +14 was held by Dan Marino (1983).
2nd in NFL history as a rookie with 65.6% completion. Record of 66.4% is held by Ben Roethlisberger (2004).
NFL rookie record 1.27% of passes attempted being intercepted. Former record of 1.98% was held by Charlie Batch (1998).
Led the NFL in yards per pass attempt with 8.14 YPA. Second-best in the NFL was 8.0 YPA (Cam Newton).
Led the NFL in yards per rush attempt with 6.8 YPC. Second-best in the NFL was 6.5 YPC (C.J. Spiller).
Joins Aaron Rodgers (2011) as the only 2 Quarterbacks in NFL history to finish a season with 8.1 yards per pass attempt, 65% pass completion, and only 1.27 INT%.
Joins Dan Marino (1983) as the only rookie quarterbacks in NFL history to be initially selected to the Pro-Bowl.
Becomes the only QB in NFL history to rush for 750 yards and finish with a passer rating over 100.0.
Becomes the only the 2nd QB in NFL history to rush for 750 yards and finish with a +15 TD-INT differential (Randall Cunningham, 1990).
Becomes the only QB in NFL history to rush for 750 yards and finish with a 4:1 TD-INT ratio.
Current career leader in NFL history (rookie or vet) with 4:1 touchdown-interception ratio. Former leader of 3.47:1 was held by Aaron Rodgers.
Current career leader in NFL history (rookie or vet) with 620:1 yards-interception ratio. Former leader of 457:1 was held by Aaron Rodgers.
On pace to be the career leader in NFL history (rookie or vet) with 65.65% completion (needs a minimum of 2500 attempts). Current leader is Drew Brees at 65.64%.
Led the Washington Redskins offense to ranking #1 in yards per play, #1 in yards per pass, #2 in yards per rush, #2 in points per play, and #1 in giveaways per per game.
Led the Washington Redskins to their first NFC East championship since 1999 (over the defending Super Bowl champions) and their third playoff appearance in 20 years.

Shit team is a little exaggerated, they were far better than a 2-14 year but "suck for Luck" and Curtis Painter dragged them down. He also had quite the favorable schedule (something like 2nd or 3rd easiest in the entire league), and somehow the Colts managed 11 wins despite being the only playoff team with a negative point differential on the season. Don't get me wrong, he did a lot of great things this year, but his season isn't quite on par with Wilson or RG3's.

I think Luck/RG3/Wilson are all fucking good. Anyone who doesn't have a stud QB is pretty much fucked in the NFL.

Luck shouldn't be considered for an award because he looks like some kind of mongoloid-primate-hybrid mouthbreather, and those other two guys at least look like people.

Pretty crazy that 3 rookie QB's made the playoffs this year. Gonna be some good games coming up.

So I take it you think Peterson over Manning for MVP? And Wilson shouldn't be considered for OROTY either since he's got the 3rd best rusher and 4th best defense in the league?

Yeah, it's interesting. Not only that, Seattle was the team where Romo fumbled the snap. Both teams looking for redemption against Seattle.

I think Manning versus Peterson is an interesting debate. There's no question Vikings don't get into playoffs without Peterson but Broncos were in the playoffs just last year and even made it to the Divisional Round with arguably one of the worst QBs in the league manning (hehe) the helm. That said, Broncos totally aren't #1 seed and on a ridiculous winning streak without Pey-pey. So taking both those things into account, who was more valuable overall? Getting a couple more wins, or almost singlehandedly willing your team into the playoffs when the deck is intentionally stacked against you because you have an average QB who isn't to be feared?

Be nice, Ponder did make some big plays today (although obviously in general you're right about Peterson carrying them).

Its amazing how Elurin can suck off the entire starting lineup for the Redskins without anyone noticing.

I think Morris and Griffin should be co-MVPs, Shanahan should be Coach of the Year and Griffin should get the Walter Payton award!
