So I attended the Colts/Chiefs game. First game in my 26 years of Indianapolis residency, and it was a good one.
The reason Smith used two back-to-back timeouts was because the stadium was so fucking loud. There were noise meters they were showing and they were more than maxed out.
Also, the Colts got fucked on a lot of penalties (we got 1 in our benefit the entire game, I believe) and only got the one that decided the game more or less because the entire stadium booed the fuck out of the refs.
