Embarrassing. And Cousins is likely out for the rest of the season. Just a shitty night.

Yeah, that game was wild down the stretch.

Spurs played pretty good and won game 1. Can't expect Denver to shoot that bad the whole series though.

For as good of a team as the Warriors are, they sure are great at choking

The Warriors want ALL the records, even the shitty ones. Next year when KD is gone, they will be the first 1 seed to be swept out of the playoffs by the 8 seed.

KD checks out so easily. He's practically a liability if the Dubs run up the score early. 8 shot attempts in 34 minutes with 9 TOs. Pathetic.

Dame Lillard is so freaking good, he dominated Russ last night. Shame Nurkic is out, there is a lot to like about this Portland team and it's hard to see OKC winning this series. Spurs/Denver is a great series as well. Playoffs have been pretty great so far as a neutral

The playoffs are actually really interesting this year, well the series' Golden State isn't in. It is cool to see who might be the next potential champions once GS fades away.

It's strange how much Curry and Thompson are taken for granted now. They used to get a ton of media coverage and deservedly so, but unless Steph or Klay explodes for 40+ people dont care.

KD is obviously the best player on the team and is the main weapon the last 2 years, but the splash brothers are still two of the best guards in basketball. Even though they are both swagerless, they provide good defense and peerless shooting. They will win in 5.

Cousins is done. No team will pay him now. Sad.

Lillard hit 3 30 plus footers in that OKC game....

No but Thompson most definitely does, and that's who I was referring to mostly.

Curry's defense is wildly underrated. People act like he's James Harden out there.

Curry may or may not be actual trash. It's hard to say how much he's improved over the years because the Warriors hide him extremely well with their defensive schemes.

He plays alongside Klay, who is an All-NBA defender, and so never has to defend his opponent's best guard. The Warriors also boast DPOY in Draymond who roams like a monster and is incredible on help defense, Igoudala who is a defensive specialist and Finals MVP, and KD who is a stellar defender in his own right.

Has he gotten better at playing defense or has Curry just learned to play within his limitations and let the system work for him? Hard to say. Dude is surrounded by 4 of the Association's better defenders and certainly benefits from his situation.

The eye test usually works when it comes to defense. Westbrook's defense is not great compared to say Kawhi Leonard, but he almost lead the NBA in steals.

Isolated defense and help defense is different, but being a great overall defender often gets overlooked. Curry isn't a liability, and even Harden is twice the defender he was just 3 years ago.

Steph isn't a Kevin Love-sized liability, correct. Klay is a good (great) defender; Curry is capable as far as I'm concerned.
