So as of right now the Bruins are 2 points ahead of where the Lightning were on this date last year with 1 less game played. Those OT points really add up, Bolts were 21-7-1 on Dec 4th last year whereas Boston is is 20-3-5. Caps are equal at the same number of games played.

Caps need to slow down some, let someone else win that President's Trophy. I knew we've been setting some records for best start in team history through X games, but that's pretty good.

Caps were strange last night, got the early 2-0 lead then basically went on cruise control. Kings dominated possession but Caps played strong enough defense to prevent any real scoring chances. Samsonov was great other than his 1 horrible puck handling error that resulted in the king's lone goal

Definitely bit of a weird game. Shots on goal was only 23-22 Kings. Pretty low shot totals for both teams. Didn't help they gave them the first 3 PP's of the game and we didn't get one until 12 minutes to go in the 3rd period, but is what it is.

Wish it was possible to blow the Sharks up. Never wanted EK65 and now we can't even tank properly because of him. Sadly Burns also looks like he's falling apart this season(or becoming too predictable).
