It’s not about the fee for me. I cancelled years ago on principle. You’re basically giving that fag Bezos money and allowing a marketplace for Chinese knock offs.

Last I looked, some years ago, the effective adblocking for Apple products cost money. I don't remember if it's a subscription or one time fee. I think they are whole device blockers.

You could always run an HDMI from your PC to your main TV, then clone the second monitor onto that TV. There are various remote options, depending on how far away the TV is (like Bluetooth controller or wireless mouse/KB). They make HDMI to cat6 converters for such runs too (like this for example).

Most of my supplements are on a subscription on Amazon. Shipping on all that shit alone would be over $40 bucks a month. So a sub to Prime just makes common sense. Anytime I watch something on Prime, though - it goes through my Router's own Ad Blocking and I never see any commercials. Though.. I cant remember the last time I watched anything on Amazon. Every show or movie Ive wanted to watch has been hosted by another subscription service inside of Amazon's subscription service, like Paramount+. ... And really, at that point - Im just going to fucking pirate your shit. Fuck all that noise.

Prime is a bit scammy and is made for impatient/undisciplined people. If you order over $35 in one order almost everything is "free" shipping anyway. So if it's less than $35, just leave it in the cart until you need something else. The scammy part is that vendors often mark up their products to cover the "free" shipping anyway, so you are double paying for shipping when you pay for Prime.

Amazon's prices are pure shit these days. Double/triple on a lot of things vs Wal Mart or similar.

When I see something is coming out on Prime, I note when it's released and pirate it. I have Prime, I live in the middle of nowhere and it pays for itself. I had to use it just today to buy Gatorade power and sugar free lemonade because Wal-Mart doesn't stock it here. The only thing I watch on Prime is NFL and it's going to have ads whether you pay extra or not. Last time I had to call Amazon I made sure to tell the person on the phone just how scummy a move they pulled by doing that crap.

I do the opposite, instead of keeping track of the 50 streamers and networks that release shows I check the download sites for new releases. A single aggregated list of what came out.

If they stop being woke, and make some decent shows that might happen. They fired their big girl boss, so if they can get the woke out of The Boys and LOTR that would show they are worthwhile.
