Dude, I had Lunar: Silver Star on sega CD, holy shit I haven't thought about that game in eons. I never played the other ones.
Yeah they just released Lunar Silver Star (1) and Eternal Blue (2) remastered on all the consoles - it is based off of the "complete" versions, i.e. the PSX(1) versions by Working Designs... minor (woke) script edits, but all the anime videos have been hand-remasterd to HD, the game-play upscale and expanded to 16:9 and all voice acting redone.

Lunar Silver Star Harmony is a complete remake of 1 for the PSP - new game play visuals and perspective change, battle, script re translation - original "Complete" Anime sequences in visual re-translated including the main "song" is re-translated (this is usually the "bad" of Harmony, and the rest is considered the best version..even vs the new Remaster.)

I never played the SegaCD original version, but read up on the plot differences and it was interesting the changes. In fact the changes and small things between all the versions is intersting to me, I may try and play the SegaCD versions on emulator.

Lunar 2 is seen as weaker, but also better? it really is just a good game itself and well made imo...it is different as are all the characters so its not "ahh a fond remembering of the original" but its own thing that has enough link-backs (its all linked back, but not in a bad way)

All that to say

I guess I will watch Andor now, even if the main character had to open his yap about Trump or whatever.

I have not watched Andor S1, was going to start once this S2 started- but then the main character cried about Trump and injected that bull into things... then the "oh my rape!! ohh" nonsense, so I wrote it off.

I still, sorry not sorry; like Rouge 1 and put it as one of the best films.

Then you post that drinker video... /sigh

The rape scene that was sexual assault is really an argument between "This fits the narrative in this fascist nightmare" vs "Star Wars needs to be accessible to 8 year olds". Ignoring the fact any kid will be horribly bored by all of this cause its not kid exciting. The triggering by zoomers over all of this has been worrying frankly. I totally expect people like that dude to exist within the empire because its all about power and control. Even the ISB is a giant competition for power and these people will do anything for it and with it.

Bix got her ass beat, the low level imperial officer was trying to leverage her dilemma and got what he deserved, and I had zero issue with any of it.

As a season mostly dedicated to the inner workings of the early Rebellion, it's really surprising we haven't even heard a mention of the Mon Calamari yet. In the original trilogy you only see them in ROTJ so there could have been an argument that they joined the Rebellion with their massive fleet only later, except we already get some of those ships in Rogue One in the battle over Scarif, with Admiral Radus.

There's surely time in the remaining 3 episodes to toss that in, but this show has used aliens very sparingly (which makes sense for the Empire subplots but the Rebellion plots could have used some more, even just a few. We only really see a few aliens in Senate/Coruscant city scenes), but I have a feeling they're not going to explore it much, which would be a shame. Would also have been cool to see a live-action Bothan, even if just as a small cameo in the background of a scene on Yavin 4 or something.

The show being called Andor is just odd this season, he feels like a guest star , some episodes he's a bit more present but there are entire arcs where he's basically away stranded in a jungle only to pop in for a cameo at the end in his TIE (which then completely disappears), and other times the season focuses a lot more on other characters and he's not there much at all, much less than season 1 at least.

I also think he's one of the least interesting characters in the show overall, I am much more involved in Luthen's, Dedra's or even Syril's stories than I was with Cassian's, but maybe that's because we know he dies just after this show ends.

If my memberberries are right, the Mon Calamari joining slightly before or just after the battle of Yavin when they liberated their own world.

Yeah I remember they are locked in a big civil war with the Quarren with whom they share their world.. the next three episodes arc takes place basically just before Rogue One if I recall correctly, so that could work since Rogue One basically happens over a few days (and then so does A New Hope). Guess we find out in a few hours what they planned to end this show.

I was hoping they would show the rebellion on how they get their fleets of xwings and capital ships. Maybe that's these last 3 episodes tonight.
i remember seeing a cost

the rebellion is all privately funded, like mothma was paying luthen 100k a month, while a xwing costs like 150k, so like every year shes just suppling like 1/3 of a squadron (as anyone who has played xvt, a squadron is like 12 ships)

Wow at the 10th episode. That pulled a little bit at the heart strings.

Episode 10 is just great writing.

The exchange between Dedra and Luthen is peak.

I think that last arc could have been structured better.

I get they want their callbacks in the final episode, but you could have had (more of) the rescue at the beginning of the final episode and then the dialogue heavy parts. And again, having the three rescuers all be alive for Rogue One dissolves any tension for them, AND we're getting another "Rescue on Coruscant" two episodes after the last one.

It also doesn't help that, chronologically, all of this episode's "Do we believe person X?" will be followed two or three days later with nearly the same actors all arguing over "Do we believe person Y" when Cassian and Jyn get back from Eadu.

Edit: Yeah, the final shot was what I figured, though I suppose I should have also known _where_ it was going to be from B2 not being referenced since. Can't say I expected the ISB conclusions - though honestly those endings feel a bit forced, given that they relied on actions we never saw on screen (in Dedra and Jung's private research).

Really have to admire the sheer cascade that happened to the Empire's elite between the last few episodes and Rogue One in such a short time frame. Krennic and ISB over-ambition created some beautiful chaos. Hell if you figure the original Episode 4 was only a week's worth of time this was the worst month ever.

edit: Lothal and Thrawn's disappearance would have been mere months before this too.

The last arc was not the best arc, but this is the best Star Wars has ever been. Incredible.

Sooo is daedra the reason the empire loses everything? She leaked the death star plans causing everything.
