I may, I was going to check my Amazon to see if I was going to get like a promo thing for $3 or $5 for whatever, and then maybe just binge it that way because it's easy.

I mean if it's a good show I honestly rather give them some support. Isn't that why we all buy various video games when they come out from people making quality stuff, or make certain to watch films by various directors that are actually proud of their craft and making great movies?

I appreciate it though and I might take you up on it if Amazon isn't going to throw me a bone.

Then again, fuck Disney.
I’ll support stuff I like on the condition that the company doesn’t advocate for the rape and mutilation of kids. Just pirate that shit. I too can invite anyone not too retarded to a private tracker.

Disney+ still only does 720p streaming to a PC. Doesn't matter if it's the app or through a browser they are assholes who will only give you 1080p or better if you go through a TV, fire stick, or whatever. Even if you pay for the damn service it is more convenient to download a copy that is 1080 or 4K.

Semi-related... I could get 4K from Netflix just fine with their app until they literally flipped a switch to end support for Windows 10. Same thing with HDR10+ if you have a TV with AV1 hardware support it worked for the first week, but then they manually blocked it from operating with anything other than 2024 or newer models.

Torrents are for the olds... just use uBlock Origins and stream it. If you want more protection, learn to use NoScript (which I recommend for every website, regardless). I'm overly cautious and isolate even further by using a separate browser just for streaming (in my case, Brave). That way I can use the browser add-on for movie-web without much worry.

Why doesnt Disney make more amazing shit like Andor?

"Just pirate it bro!"

Paying Disney 7 bucks or whatever for 24 episodes of peak TV is worth it. Cancel after, don't watch anything else, prove there is an audience for shit that isnt LIGHTSABRES! ERMG

I know..right? A show so damn good that people were willing to watch a 27 million dollar rave(One of the weaker parts of the show).
it cost that much cuz they went on location to film it instead of the digital screen

venice i think

oh and the 1000 costumes

its worth watching, paying disney for it or pirating it is a decision you have to make

it doesn't really matter how many people watch andor, its over and we will never get anything like it again. It cost $700m to make 2 seasons of Andor (lol) and we are long past the era of streamers paying that kind of money for stuff now. The only thing upcoming in the next few years with similar budgets is Rings of Power (legacy costs) and Harry Potter.

($645m was before some final reshoots/VFX work)

I just finished binging this and like season one I think it was excellent.

The pacing is slow but works well. I like it he format they went with 2 episodes to set things up and a 3rd with big payoff.

I really like seeing how the rebellion was formed, and that it wasn’t easy, and that there was a huge cost involved.

It’s not just great Star Wars tv show, it’s a great tv show period.

I’m sad there won’t be more of it. And quite possibly not any more Star Wars of this quality.

I think I’ll watch Rogue One tonight and fuck it might follow that with the original trilogy since it all flows into one another.

I watch Star Wars every few years, and always went by release order. I think from now I will most likely start with Rogue One into original trilogy like I’m doing right now because of Andor. I may even throw Andor S1 and S2 in there because it’s so good, although watching 2 season might just make a Star Wars marathon too long. Also as good as Andor is, and how well it flows into Rogue One it’s definitely not required watching.

Revenge of the Sith -> Andor -> Rogue One -> ANH -> ESB -> Return of the Jedi -> Obi-Wan (just for Ewan/Hayden/Vader scenes) -> Mando S1 & S2 -> TFA

that should be the rewatch order. if you wanna go real deep you can add Clone Wars (before Andor), Rebels, Bad Batch, Ahsoka to the list but thats a lot of hours

my brother also pointed out that Thrawn (from Rebels) was right all along, he wanted to build advanced tie fighters to crush resistance but Palp wanted a death star. The Rebels find out about the death star and in under 14 days its gone. 20 years of work gone in 2 weeks. Jesus Christ! Its also even more fucked up when you think about how so many planets joined the rebellion because they got fucked over in the Empire's quest to BUILD the death star.

Why would you watch Obi after ROTJ and not after ROTS going by the logic in your order?

Also we finally found out what happened to Jar Jar (really its not cannon but its my head cannon, apparently in real cannon he is a homeless child's entertainer in the streets because he was exiled by the Gungans for enabling the empire)

LOL I did not notice it on my first watch. But the set designers for this show were the biggest Star Wars nerds in the universe. All series theres little touches but specifically in Luthens shop.

Apparently that skull has a metal thing that traces it back to KOTOR

Perfect. They need to do shit like that MORE instead of a $250 million Mando series filmed in Volume.
When did they do that? Mando was the cheapest Star Wars series they put out, first season was 100 mil. The Mando movie is at like 150 mil.
