When did they do that? Mando was the cheapest Star Wars series they put out, first season was 100 mil. The Mando movie is at like 150 mil.

I really dunno how much it costs, just my point is I would rather them spend money on real sets in real locations then filming in the Volume thing.

You realize the Volume was created as a way to deal with COVID right? This is part of the reason they spent 650 million on 2 seasons of Andor and Mando was way cheaper.

Fantastic. They use it too much, and it makes shit look fake. Season 2 was $290 million for 595 minutes of runtime over 12 episodes. Everyone is making a big deal and it is expensive but thats still 24ish million per episode, and essentially 4 movies.

Look at this shit and tell me they didnt spend money well. Like I LOVE Severance dont get me wrong. There is NOTHING in that show that screams $20 mill per episode lol. Also Andor S1 being 5 million more per episode then Mando is fucking hilarious. What the fuck did they spend money on on She Hulk anyways I never watched it. I will take Andor at Wandavision price all day every day

On season 1 episode 6. Slow AF. Where’s all the action? Shooting? Lightsabers? Etc

But seriously, this is not THAT show.

ITs a well acted, extremely well written spy thriller. You are coming up to a fantastic arc however with Andy Serkis that is top tier, but this show is not in any way shape or form classic jedi / williams score / simple kids fantasy Star Wars. If that is what you want then Mando is probably something you would like a lot more.

Gotcha. I watched the first season of Mando and that’s it. Are there any other Star Wars Disney tv shows worth keeping my sub for other than andor?

I seem to remember liking the second season of Mando. I remember not liking the third.

Star Wars? If you have a kiddo Skeleton Crew is good. If you don't you probably wont get much out of it. Its a really well crafted and acted show that kid loved but watching it alone I think I woulda been bored instead of seeing them enjoy it.

Simpsons, American Dad, Futurama, Rick and Morty old episodes? Yep. Only reason I really keep it.

That is the general consensus, but discounting memberberries (Ahsoka! Boba Fett!) season 2 boils down to about two positives: Diana Lee Inosanto (Elsbeth) has real martial arts skills, and Bill Burr gives a good monologue.

And just to join the chorus, the best (/only acceptable) episode of Boba Fett doesn't have Boba Fett in it.

The imperial infiltration episode is amazing.

S2 E7+ (yeah, not a typo, S2), if you can make it that far :p (you're gonna "love" S2 E1-6 :p).
Lightsabers? Can't do, KK has them all up her ass so tough shit.

pretty interesting they cut a scene in the finale where Perrin (Mon Mothma's husband) would have said he knew what was going on and would have helped more if Mon asked him

there were a lot of scenes in season 2 where Perrin was looking quietly on in the background when Mon/Luthen were talking, I always thought they were gonna reveal he was an Imperial spy but pretty interesting
