I have no idea the type of paint. I think he’s just laying down the base. I have another painting he did that had this complex light / color or something. I honestly hope this ends up looking badass!!

If I was a painter, I would create a name for myself by painting portraits of celebrities and politicians with their eyeballs moved 30% closer together to spread awareness about Down syndrome. Might bump that up to 40% for Maisie Williams.
