Thor’s clothes did not disintegrate upon getting hit by the full power of the sun. How unrealistic.

Just because the cheap knock off Earth clothes you wear can't stand up to the full power of the sun doesn't mean Asgardian underpants fold under pressure.

That will happen in the porn version due out next week: "Infinity Load"

Hulk should be the loose canon, use at last resort, mass destruction. I am now more interested in Thor and Iron man.

I know this post is a month old but I just saw the movie this evening and totally agree with you. Totally hated that the Hulk got smacked down pretty effortlessly in the first 5 minutes of the film. That was bullshit. The Hulk I know and love would just get more and more pissed.

Check it out: from the classic Marvel Superheroes roleplaying game, Thanos has a Strength of "Unearthly (100)" and Fighting of "Monstrous (75)". The Hulk begins with Fighting as "Remarkable (30)" and Strength of "Monstrous (75)". However, the Hulk has adrenaline surge where both Fighting and Strength will escalate up to Shift-X (150). So, no, the Hulk should have held his own quite well against Thanos.

Anyway, I thought the movie was decent. The humor, however, fell flat most of the time but that could partly be due to watching the movie with a grand total of 3 people in the theater.

This was explained really well in the MMO and you kind of see it in Return of the King. Sauron has a fear aura.

In the MMO some areas were gated by creepy Sauron shit like watcher statues, if you passed them you'd just run away in terror unless you met the prerequisites. In Return of the KIng, when Sauron sees Frodo in Mordor, Frodo immediatly collapses. Which is why Aragorn is important because he is a more credible threat and ringbearer than Frodo and draws Sauron's gaze away.

So if they flew on Eagles into Mordor, not only are there flying Ringwraith dinosaur beasts around, Sauron could literally just LOOK at them and take them out of the air.
It's explained in the books, the explanation being that the eagles don't involve themselves in the affairs of beings below, and the only reason they come to Gandalf's aid is because he saved their King.

I thought it was well done but I had an entirely different perspective: Hulk and Thor have ZERO idea of their true power.

Ragnarok and IW illustrated Thor perfectly. How many times does the kid need to be told he’s not the god of hammers? Yet he still needs StormBreaker. He survived the explosion of his ship. The vacuum of space. The direct beam from a Star. With Odin and Hela gone he’s an Allfather or at the least a sort of Cosmic God. You get the picture.

With the Hulk it’s even worse. As your book mentioned he needs to build up his power/rage. He had no chance to do that against Thanos. He got chain stunned and sulked. That’s the only way to beat the Hulk. It’s got to be a fast kill. I genuinely hope the next phase will include the Maestro.

We’ll see.

I liked hulk getting beat down by Thanos. I think that was the best way to show non comic reading audiences just how powerful Thanos is even without the stones. Up until now hulk has kind of been the avengers Trump card because of his power. By having hulk get smacked down right away, it perfectly set up Thanos as a villain to fear.

Fuck, I've left a generation of children ignorant of the complex politics of eagles! How will they cope?

They are all becoming Antifa, we used to read the hobbit in primary/middle school back in the 80s, the millennials are growing up cucked to fuck thanks to your lack of understanding of classic literature.

I am a millennial, so I'm not sure how you think I managed to teach many millenials. The students I am teaching are the yet unnamed generation after.

There is a pushback against cuckery and it's quite common for students to say that they like Trump (A 11 year old girl genuinely said this to me), there are occasionally memes stuck around the place by the kids - I've seen a Kekistan flag, it's ok to be white and Nigel Farage laughing. All things I agree with. A lot of children don't like their teachers so if they get taught by a cuck, they will just resent it.

I'm not sorry that me posting a cool thing I saw in the LotR MMO triggered you, fuck off. Obviously Illuvatar and the Valar would NEVER interfere in Middle Earth and send agents to help out!

Hulk has several different power levels depending on writer. Also, if you can beat Hulk's ass quick, he can't get stronger--this has actually happened a lot. (The issue is, Hulk is very durable, so its hard to put him down quick.)

But Zues beat Hulk's ass. And Odin is about as strong as Zues. And Thanos was able to go toe to toe with Odin without the power stone. (Thanos was using the power stone against Hulk to, don't forget, they made a point of it glowing when Thanos began fighting back.)

Just like all characters, Hulk is really all over in terms of power. The movie version? It makes sense Hulk got wrecked, especially with a disgruntled banner limiting Hulk's power. (Hulk always works best when Banner is angry and wants Hulk to go full out.)

You being wrong about the issue is what "triggered" me.
