I think part of the problem is it takes an act of god to bring down heli's if they got engis inside repping. And the attack copters weren't OP? I mean christ...a GOOD pilot was game changing. A great pilot was insta win. When dudes are going 40-0, you need some severe changes there. Especially city maps. Christ dudes are maneuvering the copters between buildings like they are playing a game of Super Mario.
Do you guys have that 'Network Smoothing' option on? (or whatever it's called)Yeah it's really server dependent. I notice 64 man servers tend to be worse than say 32 man. I am thinking it is more on the server side anyways, will be nice when they patch it, should be as solid as BF3 then.
I get the nausea/headache effect in 2 different instances. the first is the Hovercraft HL2 stages. the second is the entire game of guild wars 2. I've had 0 problems in bf4 so far.Well shit looks like I might have to break down and buy this , been a while since played something besides an MMO for the PC and have a high end rig so should be able to run it well.
Couple questions ,
1= Amazon easiest/best place to buy it currently ?
2=Any of you playing it every had the queasiness from other FPS but doing ok in it ? As in I never had a problem with 1942/DC/BF2 etc , nor many other FPS like Tribes and so on. But certain ones like HL2 and Defiance etc make me want to hurl. Don't know if it's a PoV thing or what , but wondering if anyone else similar can say that BF4 seems ok to them ?
Too much hype right now.Is this game worth getting? I loved BF3 before they made javelins able to target air with no warning tone, after that I just lost interest for the most part.
$60 just seems...like I would regret it.
Makes sense. I bought the BF3 premium and all that stuff when it was on sale for 20 bucks last christmas, and I played it like 4-5 times after that.Too much hype right now.
There are some good things and bad things and overall, if you liked BF3 you will most likely like this game as well. Always hard to justify 60 on a yearly upgrade FPS which are dime a dozen. At least this one has exploding things in the maps that change the way the map is in the game. I liked single player from what I played of it last night before I went to bed, but I guess that sucks later.
To each their own. I am sure there is a deal to be had sooner or later and you can get the entire game with all the premium pack bullshit micro transactions for maps and game types along with it.
BF3 still has a major population. About the only thing you will lose out on is wading through all the multiplayer bugs.
Two things that DICE always seems to nail though. Graphics but most importantly, audio. The audio in this game completely dominates at every level. Whoeever their sound designer is, should not be working for EA but rather a company that deserves him/her.
watch this video, if you cream your pants buy the game if not then wait until the 50% inevitable xmas holiday salesIs this game worth getting? I loved BF3 before they made javelins able to target air with no warning tone, after that I just lost interest for the most part.

I am having the same issue. On top of that, every 10-15 minutes, the game would freeze and sound goes on loop.I have two monitors and set my game to be borderless window, but every time I load in the game, it only covers about 2/3 of the monitor. Anyone know how to fix that?
I had this same thing happen to me. But then I went from windowed to full-screen and it stopped. I don't know if I got lucky but it hasn't done it so far.I am having the same issue. On top of that, every 10-15 minutes, the game would freeze and sound goes on loop.
