Peddling stupid shit has always worked and probably always will. Just look at Homeopathy; how it "works" is the some of the dumbest shit I have ever read, yet its been around for 200+ years and is a billion+ dollar "industry" scam. Realizing it's a scam shouldn't even take more than a basic scientific knowledge.
