How do you keep from kneeing yourself in the chin when you pedal?
It is a dirt jumper, if you on the saddle you either at a full stop hanging out or something went wrong.
You only pedal when standing.

Got to jump it, didn’t die. Hand to cut it short though due to front wheel spokes loosening pretty quick. All tightened up and ready for the weekend. Got home and looped out going for a manual and busted ass. Front end is less than half the weight of a suspension fork.

Last weekend was the closing weekend of my local gravity park. Stupid snow season is coming.

Was gonna ask the same thing. Is it made to pedal while standing up? Ahh I see, posted before the pic of you jumping. The seat is a uh oh measure lol.

Rigid didn’t work out. Put a circus expert on it. Likely switch it for a fox 831 eventually.

Starting to get this jump as normal, should be moving onto boosting it higher and then the table tops!

Just popping in to say I haven't given up . Lost about 40lbs. so far and have worked up to riding a near by rail trail couple times a week....

Still have alot of work ahead of me to loose more weight and to get back into shape hoping by the end of summer I'll be ready to hit some trails.

So I have a fairly old but somewhat well-equipped Ghost SE 9000 (I think, will have to look closer when I get home). Bought the frame and wheels off a friend a few years ago, put some Magura HS11 brakes on and it's been fine all in all.
Now I might want to switch to disc brakes just because. The wheels/hubs have center lock so for most discs I'll need adapters.
I can't make up my mind if I want Magura, SRAM or Shimano. Trying to stay somewhat cheap as well. The Magura MT5 looks nice with the 4 brake cylinders. But I also like the SRAM Guide T or Shimano BR-M6000/7000/8000.

Anyone have some input on this?

I like "hope" brakes.
I'm not a world cup rider so really, they are all great brakes and do a great job at what they do. Each brand has had a bad model so read some reviews .. Really itll come down to cost and which one you like the look of better.

I ride casually with my parents.
Heres some random shots along the Blackstone River valley in RI. And some, rando shots of Providence on the way out in the car.

Stuck on a train heading back to Philly but been out in oregon doing some riding this month.

Still need to get a frame bag and a good front roll instead of using a front rack but it works for now.
