I've been grinding quints only a couple hours a week so I'm always grinding with agris, but it sounds like a good change if they do it right. Once we see new AP requirements and loot values, I'll reassess where I want to grind I guess. Tungrad ruins looks nice but I want a bit more AP first.

What do you think of Quint vs Hexe? I cant decide which is better. I hope they buff some of the old areas like Ancient Ruins. Such a fun place to grind and awesome design, its just not feasible at 18k trash compared to say Giffen Rasa at 25k per trash

I like Quint a lot more. I make good s/hr there and it's a pretty easy grind. Dehkia Thornwood might be the other good option for caphras right now.

I still wish they'd make the alternate treasure drop spots permanent and maybe add some solo friendly spots for Merch ring. My playtime isnt very group-friendly, getting that Oluns piece is going to be a chore.

Is Oluns only group? I’ve never been there, honestly never done group content in the game. I’m hoping to get some atoraxxion runs to get some of the new furniture pieces.
I don’t get why they don’t make the optional areas for treasure drops permanent. Is it due to them wanting a trade off between the treasure pices and silver per hour? It’s not like the drop rates get better? It sucked for everyone else at Eltens so it needs to suck for you? I’ve never understood it

They kinda are with the Edanis update, no real specifics, but if you get a special drop at those treasure zones, you can use it to allow you to have the treasure item drop at a spot you would rather grind at.

Infinite Potion event going on for the next three weeks, you can do every Weekly each week, plus an event quest for each. Will end up with 60 pity pieces by the end. Kinda sucks as I was working on selling another mana pot, guess now I'll try to sell one of each.

Sounds interesting, and still a bit annoying. I definitely want to see more but the idea of still having to visit the original spot before you can hit the preferred grind spot still sounds a little blah.

I like it, if you were to read any of the TLDR posts about Heidal Ball, its the Allan Serbin Landscape. Basically, you go to the Treasure Item spot and grind there til you get the special item (some type of fuel), which you take to the Landscape and use it to charge up uses at any grind spot that has a 300+ AP requirement. So grind Hysteria for the "fuel" to use at Elvia Trolls.

Big patch next week with all the combat changes, but also the Agris change to ALL grind spots (20k-30k/hr).

Is the drop rate lower though? That was one thing I kind of remember reading is that the other spots had a lower drop rate. But even so what a huge improvement. You can map/compass grind at any 300+ spot That’s huge

also, what do you guys do with your iridescent light stones? I completely forgot those existed and one just dropped for me. Not sure what the best thing is to use it for as they look good in both Life skiing and in PVE.

I had imagined something along the dekhia lantern sorta mechanics for it. That doesnt sound too bad, guess it just depends on the drop rate and consumption rate of the fuel.

My last iridescent lightstone went into making the auto fishing speed lightstone set. Anything naval is outta my wheelhouse. I bought a carrack and started doing sailies with Snuggle_bunny but quickly realized that the naval stuff wasnt really for me. It's like an entire separate game from BDO.
