Did you all change your skill add on’s after the patch I have not had a chance to get really into the meat of the class changes but did you change your basic adds or combos?

Addons got resetted after the patch, just check your class Discord for updated ones.

Addons got smacked pretty good. I'll have to change up the preset I had for spots that weren't 1 shots, but haven't had time to do that, since atm I'm still working on another Mana Pot, so I'm just using cast spd / move spd. ;p

People are having a collective meltdown because their not understanding what has happened, haha. It really depends on where you were grinding pre patch. Quint Hill got hit pretty hard, and whether you were over the cap or under it will feel worse now due to the mob buffs: Def +30% / HP +170%. While Hexe only got a +16% Def buff.

Basically, if you're over the cap for a spot you'll still do as well as you ever did UNLESS the mobs at that spot got buffed, your performance in that case will depend on the strength of the buff. Quint Hill feels bad, while Hexe is great.

Ya but they also changed quint from a 310 spot to a 320 spot as well which some people might not realize. I don't think people like HP sponge mobs, we'll see if they change that, but they just need to up the s/hr at a lot of places currently.

I doubt they will mess with silver/he due to the Agris change. More likely we'll see adjustments to the mob tweaks they did.

I wish they would bump up Calpheon Elvia spots. There is some fun spots but the silver per hour and no Debo drops just doesnt make them competitive with like Hexe or Quint.

They were never meant to compete with Hexe or Quint, and Hexe is getting nerf this week... supposedly.

I did about 30min at Giants, with a bad addin setup and an outdated crystal setup. With just a cron meal and vells, I was above it's cap. I used Agris and a yellow scroll. Got 23k trash, 2 distos, and some other minor rng loot. Being able to use Agris makes this spot way better than it used to be, since prior to the patch it would drain 100k Agris in that time.

I'll try a full hour with full buffs once I figure an addon setup and new crystals. I will say that it is better to overcap as much as you can at any spot you like. There was a post on the subreddit where a guy did some testing that showed the more you overcap a spot, the more consistently your skills will do max dmg. I'll try to find it later.

Apparently Hexe mobs are getting HP buffs and Fogans is supposedly around 2.5b/hr now with all the changes. I always liked doing Fogans when Elvia was new so I'll probably try spending some time there soon.

That sucks as Hexe is a lot of fun now. Fogans is great but I have not really been paying attention to the silver as I've been trying to farm more mats for cups.

So far I am not seeing a huge change in mid level areas, but I definitely will try Giants again, I have not been there for ages.

Just remember, the 2.5bln/hr at Fogans is based on potential Cup sales, and getting Necklaces.

I'm hearing normal Ash Forest is very good right now, I expect people who are farming Hexe will go there next.

My grinding philosophy has always been about getting immediate profit, so I never (and will never) jump on the Cup train, haha. Now, the Infinite Mana pot train.. well I'm down for that since Atanis makes it so easy.

I still don't understand how the mechanic at Giants actually works. I get that eventually you can trigger a mini event with waves of mobs spawning, what I don't get is how to get that event to eventually spawn either the Powerful Giant or Gehaku. Whether either of those two spawns seems totally RNG based. Yesterday in my 30min-ish grind, I got many event to pop, but only 1 ever spawned the Powerful Giant (and get the buff), and a Gigagord even spawned.

Here is the reddit post I mentioned eariler. Makes sense once you realize our skills will use the Weapon AP range, so the dmg will vary, so going above the AP cap for a spot will maximize the chance for max dmg.

Same. I prefer immediate profit too, rather than RNG based peaks and valleys. Just throwing it out there as an option.

It's purely RNG. I've had 4 events in a 1HR grind before and I've had 0-1. I used to grind Giants all the time with my Lahn before quitting a couple years back. I like that area a lot but it was only a 1ish bil/hr spot back then.

Been messing with this again lately due to the lack of solid MMOs. Leveling up a Dosa and really enjoying it so far.

Are node networks still pretty shitty silver/hr? The logistics of having to buy food for them and sell shit constantly was pretty annoying and not very hassle-free.

I have not done nodes in a while. Last couple times I just didn't have the time to make them properly profitable. Kind of like farming, it takes so many inventory slots with so much time to grow, harvest, and then use your ingredients to get any kind of Imperial Cooking/Alch profit I just couldn't do it. I enjoyed it, just didn't have the time compared to one hour at Hexe or Trolls.

I think Pansy on YouTube did a big thing on it being profitable with the right tweeks couple months ago, so sure if he plays anymore.

Had the big cyclops thing and Hexe Marie spawn at the same time last week so that's more fun right now than cooking chicken for workers (is that still a thing?)

I have a node setup I made years ago, I still keep my workers fed because OCD but it's not any significant income compared to AFK fishing. It's one of the things that had a lot of potential, I remember thinking it sounded so cool before the game launched, but then nothing much came of it.

I use a worker empire just to stockpile raw materials for one day when i think i might need em. Wood for crates, saps for Elixirs of Harmony, etc. I dont bother trying to sell the stuff they bring in. It's more of a longterm money making thing. Let them run in the background for a month or two while you fish/grind then make a shitload of crates for an extra 80bil or so.

Yeah, I don't have the time to fuck with all that and even fully optimized it looks like they only bring in around 50m/day in passive income.

I figured they were still petty useless and not worth fucking with. Back to the grind for me.
