The game has ONE BILLION WEAPONS, yet all of them are garbage. They nerfed the few good ones they had for no particular reason. At the end of BL2, I had some bad-assed characters. The end character in BL3 is exactly the same as it was at the start. Why play more?

Blessed I am for having a life where I can, occasionally, throw away that kind of money on a video game, however;

it does seem steep given their track record as of late
AND
his comments almost seem like an unspoken challenge to see just low you can get it for sale by being patient.

I am gonna wait until 40+ percent unless it is REALLY good. I mean like "this is almost as good as 2" good.

After Borderlands 3, there’s no way I’m paying $80 for BL4. Maybe when it hits the bargin bin. There are just too many good alternatives, and Gearbox hasn’t exactly been delivering hits.

I really enjoyed BL1 and 2.

When BL3 released my best friend and I co-op'd the campaign for a couple days until our interest fizzled out and it just kinda faded away. I'm confident that we weren't too far from completing it, but the game was boring. In fact, I can't remember anything about it.

pretty sure BL3 was one of, if not the, last straws that stopped me from pre-ordering games anymore. i'm completely ok with waiting and watching streams/reviews for a few days before deciding now.
