can you tell the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps?

11/11 you can really see the hitching when the camera turns on a texture, its especially apparent up close.

10/11 and the one I got wrong I juked myself by not wanting to select the same answer four times in a row.

11/11. I'm 35, not sure what my vision is now but I used to have 20/15 when I was younger.

I can seen the fps difference nearly instantly, but it doesn't bother me to the point where I'd spend $$$ to get one over the other.

The real difference for me is 60fps vs 120fps. I got a 120hz monitor a few years ago and noticed the difference instantly. Even moving the mouse across the screen I could tell it was much smoother. It becomes even more clear in fast paced games like Counter-Strike where you have to turn fast.

11/11 using Samsung SyncMaster P2450 1080p 60hz 30 years old

The games that took awhile for me to notice were Ninja Turtles, Arma and Portal.

10/11, Ninja turtles and Race the Sun took me the longest.

Same - 10/11'ed the damn heli blades fooled me into guessing wrong...

10/11 helicopter got me. The rest were really obvious.

I think it's easier for me because I remember playing quake 2 on integrated graphics at like 3 fps then buying a voodoo 3 2000 and pissing my pants at the marvel of 60 fps

11/11. Had to reset a couple of them just so I could focus, but 8 or so of them were pretty much instantly obvious.

5/11 on my shitty laptop, 11/11 on my gaming desktop. I think that makes it more interesting.

9/11, ninja turtles and arma2 chopper got me...

Visually it's really difficult for me to distinguish, but man can you tell when you're controlling something. Looking at you, Dark Souls.

8/11. I'm 30. Have bad vision, but obviously I have glasses.

10/11 on a 60mhz 1440p monitor. I got 1 wrong cuz i clicked on the wrong one.

It's pretty obvious tbh...

11/11 on whatever dusty fingerprint smeared piece of shit this HP work monitor is while tabbing quickly over in between waiting on this goddamn software to catch up.

I believe I'm well trained because Doom was capped 35 fps and software Quake1 ran like dogshit and then GLQuake Voodoo was HOLY SHIT and I've never been able/willing to go back.
