So basically Symphony of the Night spin-off, which more or less guarantees Alucard will be back.

I do wonder if they will still use Dracula as the main villain. Given the way the season 4 ended, would be kind of odd if he was all evil again. Then again, hundreds of years later could do all sorts of shit to his disposition. Could always resurrect Camilla maybe?

Rondo of Blood. it wasn't released in the US at the time. (Dracula X when it was released in 95)

Symphony of the night was the sequal to it.

I'm going to assume the "son of" part was a typo/dumbass. descendant yes. son. no. its like 300 years after castlvania 3 and trevor/sypha

Ah true, Rondo is 1792, SoTN is 4 years later. I'm going to assume they will age up Maria vs. her in-game age in Rondo so she isn't a teenager

Hmm wtf, why have I not heard about this show til recently? This show is amazing. I know it's highly rated but damn there doesn't seem to be enough attention for it. Even if you don't know anything about Castlevania whatsoever it should still be very entertaining. Very addicting. Almost done with season 3 now.

I have no idea how you missed it...

But, the Dota Anime is also surprisingly good.
And, so is Trese, and Seis Manos.

Dragons dogma is not.

Well I guess it's mainly because I haven't watched any animated shows in a long time. I'm just surprised there's only 12 pages on this forum for it when other shows that definitely aren't as good have wayyyy more. Thought that was a bit strange considering it's a show based on a very popular video game franchise.

I’ve even recommended it to guys that aren’t really Castlevania fans and they loved it. Hopefully the stuff in the future is just as good.

Yeah Dragons Dogma was terrible. The first episode was kind of brutal / funny with the deaths so I watched the second episode. It was just as suck as the first.

Caught up S3. Watching S4. Why can they not make a game that’s as good as this?!?? Maybe a Soulsborbe-lite? I dunno but I’m glad this hasn’t fallen into the trope of making the white male a bumbling, stupid dope. That scene with the dual whips on the “legion” demon. I was ready to break out my SNES for some fun. Thirty fucking years later and I still get erect at this music. Just set the tone.

Lenore was easily one of the best characters on the show I thought. I didn't care for the other two sisters as much but Lenore was definitely awesome.

That was always something I was sad about when I visited Tokyo. I was hoping to find a big arcade, and all I could find is Pachinko parlors that looked like arcades

Watched seasons 1 and 2 more or less straight through with a friend cause it was new to both of us. It was either this or Dragonball Super. In any case, it's definitely some quality animation and so forth, but I wasn't super into it as a Castlevania series veteran.

Tone was all over the place, too much current year "church is evil" and "men don't understand the plight of women" stuff. Godbrand seemed to exist for no other purpose than to be dominated by that one female general who was way smarter and better at everything than all the men, and complained about this in every scene she was in.

Anyway I hope S3 and S4 have better character interactions. Also I hope they're moving forward in the timeline and covering CV1(4), 2, Rondo, and SOTN with the rest of this show. That would be pretty incredible.
