Stolen from theMMO-C forum thread(the place to go for all things hunter, btw... it's the same guy who writes for Icy Veins, except IV takes like a month to publish any changes he makes to their guide, which is now obscenely outdated):

Spec Choice (boss-specific)

Kargath: Survival/Marksmanship depending on gear. (Higher-than-average-iLvl-weapon prefers MM). Focusing Shot is usable.
Butcher: Survival/Marksmanship depending on gear. (Higher-than-average-iLvl-weapon prefers MM). Focusing Shot is usable.
Tectus: Beast Mastery, Survival decent, MM sucks. Focusing Shot is probably not usable.
Brackenspore: Marksmanship for progression (where add DPS is a problem), Survival otherwise. Focusing Shot is usable.
Twin Ogron: Survival (multidot Serpent Sting). Focusing Shot is probably usable.
Ko'ragh: Marksmanship/Survival. MM probably more useful for progression (MC sniping, physical damage), Survival moreso for wrecking meters on farm. Focusing Shot is usable.
Imperator Mar'gok: Marksmanship for add-sniping, Survival/Beast Mastery for big-dick-deepsing. Focusing Shot is usable.

So basically it's still MM for 3 fights, SV for 2, and a toss up for the last 2 that will entirely depend on the ilvl of your weapon compared to your armor, as well as how much multistrike you have.

And things change fairly often with SV talent recommendations too because people are still figuring out what's the best in actual fights as opposed to sims. A couple days ago it was SF+FS for SV just like MM, now it's back to TotH+FS. For a while Stampede was recommended for fights longer than 5m20s, but now it's Crows for everything, etc.

If you've never been to HM do yourself a favor and quickly read that imgur 1 page per boss strategy at least so you have some idea. If you watch the videos you'll get your dick sucked

I'll be there to help on my hunter. Even if I find a group today or Friday, I'm sure Brackenspore will be a dick and refuse to give up a bow until I spend all my seals on him.

Btw, this was just discovered today, and is the reason why SV now favors TotH above SF: Arcane Shot hits cause an extra tick of Serpent Sting to happen when they land. On top of that, Arcane Shot multistrikes also do the same, so you can get up to three bonus ticks of Serpent Sting for every AS you use.

I'm going to go SV for the whole run next time I do normal just to see what I can do with it. My gear is fairly shitty when it comes to multistrike though. On top of that I finally got a 645 bow from a mission and the goddamn thing rolled pure mastery, which is garbage for all 3 specs.

Do we have an idea as to the length of the raid on saturday?

Also, someone teach me to heal, i cant seem to get to gold proving grounds, some little shit always dies on me. I think i need better UI mods. Any advice?
