Be vague? Pretty sure I just said pick whatever statement you want.

UW - National Championship was from an elite dlineman and QB
Blue chip lineman - To say you can do without this and regularly compete for championships is retarded whether it's college or pro level.

There ya go.

Now you are showing your ignorance, you have no clue about the roster of that National Championship Team. That elite DLineman you mentioned was not BlueChip, in fact the guy in his class that was a Blue Chip DLineman ended up riding pine. Steve became a fucking badass because of work ethic and his attitude on the field.

And I guess Dana Hall, Ed Cuuningham & Siupeli Malamala sucked not to mention 8 other Huskies drafted after that Rose Bowl.

The guy was the 1st overall pick in the NFL, you can spin in however you want but he was a blue-chip player.

Not out of High School, which was my whole point.

EDIT: To be fair I did not use the word "recruit". But I think it was a obvious that I meant you develop your Lineman with work ethic and attitude. Still failing to see what I said that was so retarded.

Washington won't be relevant again for a long time, sorry. College football has changed, and there is a very small pool of schools that can compete for a title. You can commiserate with Nebraska. All hail the champions of yesteryear.

Sadly I don't totally disagree with you Tea, however if you saw our campus and our Newly Remodeled Stadium you would wonder why we only win 7 or 8 games a year.

One of only two places in college ball that you can take a boat to the game, us and Tennessee.

I've always assumed that there are literally hundreds of huge Samoans ready to play at USC on any given season. I'm not saying it's like Texas where they have first pick on every kid in the nation's best football state...but easier to recruit 4-5 star guys than in Washington? Yeah, I can see that. It *should* be one of those schools where it's hard to fail, right?

Big fan of the Pacific Northwest in any event, hope UW doesn't take too much of a dive.

This will hurt us in our bowl game and recruiting this year, however I think it is short term hurt because Sark is not the right guy for us long term. I do not believe that Sark was going to make us relevant, I think if we get someone in there with ties to the program we will be better off.

Alabama woman charged with murder in Iron Bowl party shooting - NCAA Football - Sporting News

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ? A woman charged with killing a fellow Alabama fan after the end of last weekend's Iron Bowl football game was angry that the victim and others didn't seem upset over the Crimson Tide's loss to archrival Auburn, said the sister of the slain woman.

"She said we weren't real Alabama fans because it didn't bother us that they lost. And then she started shooting," Shepherd told The Associated Press.

Look, do we really need to post articles from The Onion in here? This is a serious football thread, etc.

Oh...oh, wait.

Why would Mora Jr even consider that? Its a lateral move at best. I Just can't see someone leaving ucla for Washington. No way.

Well a few years ago he he lost his NFL job with the Falcons for stating UW was his dream job. He is a diehard Husky, he played there and I think he coached there a bit.

It is a not a lateral move UW has more money, dedication and history in Football.

That Sarkisian hire fucked up all the fun I was going to have this off season. Now the Pac12 is just going to trade coaches. Lame.

But seriously, Sarkisian? What the fuck?
