Can someone explain to me why some of these joke games are scheduled year after year? Ohio State over Florida A&M, Louisville over Florida Intl., Georgia over North Texas. I mean, nobody expected any of these games to even be a contest, so why schedule them? How demoralizing it must be to lose 72-0. How do those kids even get up for that game when they know they are going to be completely outclassed. Makes no sense to me

It gives 'exposure' to small programs, money to the school (http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2013/0...-come-to-ohio/), nothing is ever a guarantee I guess. And teams need to pad their schedule with cream puffs so they can fight through their conference schedule and come out with a shot at a bowl game. It is pretty ridiculous though, but is a problem with the system as a whole.

I am a huge Pac12 fan and I think Wisconsin got fucked. That said my attitude is never put your life in the hands of the refs. I ya that even when my own school gets fucked.
I don't like playing these games either, but oh we'll everyone does it. In our defense though, we were supposed to play Vanderbilt in this game but they backed out and we had to find a fill in.
To their credit, the Big 10 is trying to get everyone to schedule not just FBS teams but major conference teams. Half this shit is set so far in advance though.
