Oh, this is going to be the biggest sham in history. I shouldn't be surprised that they are fucking it up, but they already are.

Rice is the latest in a string of reported members of the upcoming committee, which will select the four teams to participate in the College Football Playoff that kicks off after the 2014 season. Earlier this week, CBSSports.com reported that West Virginia athletic director Oliver Luck, Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez and USC athletic director Pat Haden are all expected to be named to the 12- to 18-member committee. On Friday ESPN reported that former Big East commissioner Mike Tranghese is also expected to join the committee.
The SEC should walk away from this right now and do a national championship invitational until this goes to 8 teams. They've all but guaranteed that we won't get our 2nd team in by inviting *acting* AD's (let alone retired ones) onto the committee. These people have allegiances built into their job description. My Team > My Conference> then everyone else. No one can or should blame them when they vote that way.

I'd rather see Vegas oddsmakers pick the teams than this trash.

I could have sworn back when she was Sec State she said her life long ambition was being Commissioner of NFL.

I'm 95% certain the story broke with a yahoo.com article (like it normally does), but I honestly don't give enough shits to prove you wrong.

Besides, why self-report if you're not going to self-penalize? Fuck, you lobbied (successfully) to have the ineligible players made eligible for the bowl game. That doesn't make any fucking sense. You thought you were going to get away with it and *then* all of the tressle shit came out. Hence the cover up. Nooowwwww I remember.
Tressel lied. TOSU self-reported the emails about it. The self-reporting to the NCAA was the wrong thing to do, instead the players should've taken cash directly and lawyered up like Money Badger and A&M. Pryor would've sat out just half a game, and Arkansas still sucked.

TOSU, USC gets hammered but Alabama will probably get nothing:Will Alabama case force NCAA to investigate? Or surrender?

Self reporting only works if you self impose a penalty that the NCAA accepts to go along with it.

Apparently Ha-Ha Dix is going to get a 3 game suspension. So it happened in the summer, they wait till after they play A&M to self report and will have him back before the LSU game. Sounds legit.

I'll take a 66 yard run. Being down 21 sucks, but that's a start!

Nevermind. Clemson too good.
