I'll be there next week. Found some broke college kids selling their tickets for $200 a piece. Not liking forward to sitting in the student section and all that mess, but glad to be down there regardless of what happens. Just hope it is competitive for more than 5:37.

Are you a student? At LSU they electronically check the ticket against your ID and enrollment status going in and at random in the stands. They bring a little tablet like deal and scan them and toss non students out.

Nah, at Auburn it is just a regular ID card they swipe when you go in. Been using my brother's student tickets for the past few years and bought a few since then.

The last BCS title and Heisman of this era going to a guy who gets convicted of rape and never plays football again two months later will be fitting.

How pissed are you if you are an Okie St fan?

you're 2 inexplicable losses against Iowa State(2011) and West virginia(this year) from playing for a national title twice in the last 3 years.

I don't think any OK State fan can be upset - as long as they didn't start following the team 2 years ago.

I am just happy we now take making bowl games for granted.

As good as OSU looked tonight, I don't think for a second they are good enough to beat a team like Bama. Maybe the teams just under them, but we were much better in 11'. Defense this year is good though - hard to be pissed/annoyed considering where the program was to where it is now. 2 BCS games in 3 years (assuming we beat OU, which I think we will) is pretty great in itself. Fun year in CFB, with Bama being the only "great" team. A playoff this year would have been pretty allsome.

Glad to see Auburn is getting board support for the big game this season finally. When the true champion of the Big 10 is crowned and Auburn rises to the top of the SEC we'll have a great game out in Cali.

Crowd already showing up on the Plains for next weekend's pre-National Championship game.
I am torn on the iron bowl because there is still the slim chance that if Saban wins it all again he might retire and return to his home planet.

Some what relevant giving yesterday's loss. Few years old, and was made when conference realignment was happening to the Big 12 and Baylor was being left out of any discussion.

Well, very disappointed with the outcome of the BU OSU game, but I never thought BU had a shot at the title game anyway. Baylor can still make it to Glendale, AZ, but we have to put our faith in Stoops now. And win our last 2 games, of course. Boomer Sooner?? I hate saying that.

Yes, let the hate flow through you.

As much as I want to be proven wrong, I'm pretty sure the pokes are going to curbstomp us in two weeks.

Good pre-Iron Bowl article:TAKES: 2ND EDITION, VOLUME 11.5. - College and Magnolia

I like this part:

You know what I'm proud of? Historically, when Auburn's football team has been at its worst, its answered with shock and awe. It really took Pat Dye two seasons to turn Auburn around, but when he did, he defeated Paul "Bear" Bryant in Bryant's final Iron Bowl. When Pat Dye let things get out of hand, Terry Bowden reeled off 20 consecutive victories to start his Auburn career. When Bowden's train derailed, Thomas Hawley Tuberville marched in and had Auburn in the SEC Championship Game by his second season. When Tuberville had proven he didn't have the desire to recruit against Nick Saban, Gene Chizik (Gene Chizik!) assembled an amazing staff and won Auburn's first national championship in 53 years by his second season. And when Gene Chizik decided that he wanted to prove his worth, and unintentionally prove that his worth was the same as the men around him, Gus Malzahn swept in and turned a 3-9 team into a 10-1 team with a legitimate shot at a BCS National Championship in the last week of the regular season.
Please excuse me if I'm obnoxious this week.... kind of excited.

Rumors abound that Manziel has a fracture in his throwing hand, happened in the game before LSU, thus his horrible performance in the LSU game(missed several wide open receivers)

Hope its true, and hop it's still bothering him this week.
