It doesn't bother me but I promise you I watch as much college football as anyone here and when I was in college I spent an assload of time on stupid message board. I never called them tOSU and it seldom happens. Most people call them OSU or Ohio State, and Oklahama State is OSU or Ok State.
And the Bobcats are Ohio University, I fail to see any confusion there. Practically every other state in the country has a "State". Georgia State. Florida State. Texas State. New Mexico State. This is not a novel concept native to Ohio.
If you want to get on TV and say THE at the beginning you're perfectly entitled to do so, but it doesn't carry any more weight than someone saying "Wide Receiver U" or "school of hard knocks" or whatever other random nonsense these idiots come up with.

I dont know that Auburn can win a title over Florida St and their criminal horde this year, but the SEC did at least deserve a shot at playing for it. Winning a bajillion in a row and then not even having a team getting a chance to play for it would have been just wrong.
But seriously, how goddamn fuck lucky is Auburn. They're absolute dogshit, then they freak luck into a national title in 2010 out of nowhere with a QB that wasnt even in D1 the year before, then they suck absolute balls again for a couple years, fire their coach, then freak luck into ANOTHER goddamn national title shot out of nowhere with a QB that wasnt even in D1 the year before. Auburn is the goddamned undisputed fucking kings of taking a felon and converting them to a national-championship calibur QB.. Seriously, they're on the verge of establishing something resembling a dynasty despite the fact that that their teams are a goddamned moral trainwrecks and the program as a whole has no consistency whatsoever. I guess at Auburn you either suck a fat one and lose double-digit games, or you destroy everyone in route to double-digit wins, there's basically no in-between. Makes no sense at all.

I suppose we had to lose eventually. Was a great run though. Grats to MSU they out played us and did a great job executing. We knew the defense was a liability, but the offensive playing was atrocious last night. Seemed like the coaches played scared. It was way to predictable. Oh well. Grats to Auburn and FSU for getting to the title game.
