Coffee bros help me out. I've never been a coffee person, though i do like the occasional cup with a bit of sugar. I keep a Keurig at home more for guests than for myself. A big part of it has to do with not liking hot beverages in general. Lately I've gotten in the habit of grabbing cold brew at a local shop and really want to explore how to integrate that into my morning routine (without the stop and cost every morning). eli5 cold brew at home. I'm hearing I should pickup the
OXO cold brew on amazon, a whatever cheap grinder, and bag of cheap medium roast from costco (cold brew uses more beans than hot? and less forgiving of cheap beans?). Steep for 12 hours then fridge the carafe. In the morning pour 6oz into a travel mug with another 6oz of cold water and a shot of creamer, all over ice.
That somehow doesn't sound right to me but what the hell do i know. Let me know your thoughts!
