He only gets assraped by the SEC. Tressel did OK against most lesser conferences. He's 1-3 against the SEC in bowl games(only win being against Arkansas)

I wasn't cherry-picking a 1 game result

40% of his bowl games were against the SEC, where he had a .250 win %, 2 losses being for the national championship(one to Florida and one to LSU)

There are 0 5 star Qbs and 2 4 star Qbs in Texas for 2015. One of those is going to TTech and the other is a dual threat UT isn't really recruiting, who will probably end up at Oregon. So Texas had to go OOS for their top Qb target in 2015, which they did and landed.
