My biggest gripe so far with the controls is running isn't pressing L3 like almost ALL games, and that the button on left side changes camera distance, wish it brought up the map.

I can live with the rest.

Its not that bad. If you want to use KB/M you can switch up keys, but that will take some trial & error. I'm using controller, it didn't take that long to get used to the basic combat flow (with the skills I have unlocked so far). The worst inputs for me atm are RB+Y and RB+RT, everything else feels OK.

I'm watching this game on Twitch and a lot of complaints about controls being terrible. My personal take is the world feels mundane and has no lasting appeal long term.

First visual issue. When running Ray Reconstruction, while having the Echo skill trained will cause extreme screen pixelation during combat when using dual weapons + heavy atk. Turning off RR fixes it.

I cut down the tree in the middle of the town square to get the 3 wood for the blacksmith. Thankfully it landing on people didn't flag me as a criminal. Wonder if the tree will respawn.

Yep. Left early to play a game.

Pretty much just commenting to say that I knocked this guy up in the air and then slammed him with a force punch out of sheer fat finger - and it literally knocked his boots off as visible loot. I dont know why I find that funny, but I cracked up when it happened like a pot head.

Yeah so I am glad I still had my X-box configured controller. This game is not key friendly on the PC.

This is going to take some time for me to muscle memory the control system. Luckily I am OCD about exploring everywhere so I will have some time.

The game is beautiful.

did the recent patch allow control remapping?
I always struggled with the Metal Gear controls , for me that was harder than the game.

For you guys with 9070xt playing this, I lost 50fps at 1080p updating to the new driver. Not sure if it's a me thing or shit drivers just wanted to warn you.

Fuck the camera in this game.
