There is a ridiculous amount of varied lighting in the game. The creator lighting has a heavy tint to it similar to how night in the city will look, but day & desert are probably closer to the bathroom's white light.

Both, since the game does controls right and you can instantly switch between the two. I use gamepad most of the time, especially for driving and melee combat. I pick up the mouse for quickhacks , UI/inventory management, and when I need to shoot someone at medium+ range.
