Well, it finally happened. I matched with a 'moderate' who, once we were out having drinks for a first date, called herself center-left but then joked about not being able to like J.K. Rowling anymore and said she could never date someone who was MAGA. I did *not* take the bait, but mainly because she was hot and I wanted to see how far it would go before she went off the deep end. She did try to ask me some probing questions, but I answered truthfully about not being beholden to any ideology and that I leaned conservative and would argue her from my moral convictions whenever she wanted. I guess she decided that I was worth hanging out with, because here is the word-for-word text that she sent the next morning: "After getting to meet, what are you feeling? I kinda got FWB vibes from you last night, which I'm fine with (doesn't offend me at all), or am I off? I just like knowing what page we're on."
So.......awesome?
