Ah, yes. Superman is indeed quite the immigrant story. Why, just this past weekend, I was talking to Consuela - my Ecuadorian maid - about how she first came to America:

"Ohh, Meestar Aylix - I come to America when Ecuador explodo! My Papi, he put me in the spaceship and he fly me to America!
