Which one are you using?I've been using one for years and didn't have any problems. The only thing that Acer does that these korean monitors don't is G-Sync.
Que? I got mine for $950 I believe. In Canada, after tax, that monitor is approaching $1100. Is it worth the $600ish premium over a Korean panel? I'd have a hard time believing that.
PST, man. 950 + 12% = $1064. Fuckin Albertans, fuck you and your McDavids!Que? I got mine for $950 I believe.
Yup:Acer XB270HU 27in WQHD IPS Gaming LCD w/ G-SYNC, 3D Ready at Memory Express
Plus GST of course. Seriously, it's worth it. Do it. Like Heylel said, you'll easily get 5 years of of it, if not more. My Dell I think I bought in 2006, and it's still going strong as the girlfriend's display.
He looked delightful tonight.PST, man. 950 + 12% = $1064. Fuckin Albertans, fuck you and your McDavids!
The only IPS you can overclock are the rev. B Yamakasi Catleap or if you buy a separate monitor controller board and replace it.Are you able to overclock the IPS panels? Or just the PLS? The Crossover 2795Q looks pretty decent, but it's IPS.
I bought a Qnix from greensum about 2 years ago and it is great. Shipped really quick and arrived with no dead pixels.Anyone use one of those Korean IPS panels? I've been looking at getting a 27" 1440p without draining my bank account.green-sumon eBay always has a bunch of different ones, and it's all free shipping if they're coming out of Korea or China or whatever. There are quite a few different brands though that I know absolutely nothing about.
Just slap stickers on it. Lots of stickers. The only way to offset having a dell beige box is to get a Full ATX case with as many multi-colored LEDs and windows as you can.
