I mean, he's not wrong. (second half of the 2010's at least) It's just not the time to rub salt into the wound of someone trying to fix their stuff, especially since it's most likely the monitor and not the GPU

I didn't feel like paying $1200 for something that is benchmark equivalent to the Vega with a different brand.

It's highly unlikely that its the GPU as the other monitor works in all the ports just fine.

Last step before I do is get an adapter for my work laptop and see if the display port connector works for it.

Planning on using it as your second monitor or replacing your main one with it? VA and curved will make for poor viewing angles which is important for secondary displays

Linus was talking about that recently. Honestly I think after 144hz it really doesn't matter that much. Even when they did the thing with Shroud, the difference past 144 was negligible. Not worth the cost.
