What am I doing wrong here? My idle proc temp is 50c. When I look in the iCue software it sees my pump and fans. Coolant temp is 30.10C
Its caused by where the temp is being measured. iirc mobo is reporting from a sensor embedded in the cpu itself, while corsair is reporting from a sensor inside the loop.

Well all done. Saved 250 by putting it together. Took me 4 hours!!

Waiting on white cables, ties and GPU support bracket. Plus a couple more fans for the bottom of case.

Yeah. I hate that. That one fan I hooked up to the CPU header directly was running like a plane taking off.

Can you change the fan speed curves in the bios? I have mine set low and it never gets hot, but it is a different chassis. You should be able to set them to run slow most of the time but ramp up as the CPU gets hot.

Only those fans connected to the MB directly. Since I have the fans for the radiator connected to the Corsair command deck in the PC, the iCue software controls those fans. There is really only 3 usable profiles...

Balanced is loud. Extreme is not useable. So I have it on quiet. But these seem like some low fan speeds.

I personally recommend just finding the highest speed at which you either can't hear them, or barely hear them, and set the curve to have them at that speed all the time.

Nice build Brahma Brahma !!

I just have a question... did you build it on a bed? That sounds so annoying, but also awesome at the same time. Lol

Yeah. I have nowhere to build it but my bed or kitchen table. Since the fam was over, the kitchen was a no go.

My O11D case comes in tomorrow, I'm putting 10 QL120 fans in it... it's gonna light up like a Christmas tree, and I'm so excited about it. Lol! I had points on Amazon and a gift card so I got it all for free. Traveling for work I guess has a few perks.
